Hi Val, Joan and anyone else who has popped in for cakes and gallons of Tetley (other tea's are available, but I dare not mention them).
Went out for lunch at garden centre today, was happy away in my wheelchair, noseying at plants and shrubs. In laws treated us, which was very nice. Aching from sitting, but nothing new there.
Just time for a few maltesers and a cup of T, before nap time. Leaving hugs to one and all. will be in with the trolley later. xx BubblesXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -

eeeeeeeew, sorry Val, felt a little bit sickly, never could cope with liver and onions, mash, that's ok. 5 bean chilli, I might need charcoal biscuits afterwards, to ward off the lancashire winds.
Hope everyone is as ok as possible. Went out for lunch, again today, did a bit more walking than was good, but at least I did it.
Leaving the trolley for all to dip into, as and when. Abundant hugs XX BubblesXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -

Hi Val, Ron Del Joan Emma and all who have been in and out.
Hope the liver and onions went down well - thought it rude to diss it yesterday, I know a lot of people love it and it is full of iron.
Pancakes I will see if there are any left to warm through, while I have a cuppa that Joan has made.
Wet, dark and very missling today, thought it was going to be sunny, hey ho, that's Lancashire for you.
Oh, I missed the black pudding, yummmmm.
Right, cat is giving me evils, for his tea, then cuppa for the humans, maybe a biscuit and a malteser, before nap time.
Hugs to all XX BubblesXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
they will del but other prices will drop as they do not get bought
do not like liver much but do eat some as it good for me lolval0 -
That's quite a list Del, I could manage the braising steak, lovely slow cooked, chicken thighs ok, but I might pass at the trotters, ham hocks and lambs heart. My Dad used to speak of their butchers shop from way back in the day, mentioning all of the above and more.
Is it me, or is it warm tonight, having a bit of a glow, might mix up an iced T and look out for the Northern Lights, would love to see them.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -

hi Val,
sit down by the fire i will bring a nice cuppa over for you, any toast?0 -
hi Rose, Val, did someone mention a kettle being on? Hope you are both ok, Nottingham, lived there for many many years, it was buzzing with shops and a great place, now, friends say it has gone downhill to say the least. Where did you shop? I can have a wander down memory lane. Did you go into the Victoria Centre, that was always the best place, with Jessops and lots of posh shops.
I am off to find a lavender pat for my wrist, serious pain and ouch. XX BubblesXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
right pull up your chairs both of you we went on train so walked down to the broadmarsh center the largest shop in there has shut and few of the smaller ones but there quite a few smaller ones that have unusual and different stock then we walked up to the square they have lovely fountains going opposite the town hall looked in couple of shoe shops and a book shop then went up to-wards the Victoria center but did not go in as it was such a lovely day did not want to spend to much time in doors so wandered up to-wards the theater and had dinner in a pub near it home made chicken bacon and leek pie with mash and veg then wandered back down looking in different shops got some fruit and bits from £1 shops watched the fountains and popped in tourest information center they selling old coins pre decimal for the queens jubilie valval0
