Oh thanks Val, now i know what you all do in here, i shall join in

For breakfast today i had a bowl of cornflakes and a cup of tea! Being good on my diet!!

I shall join everyone later for a cup of coffee.

It's a womens duty and calling to run after us men.You always tell us we can't multi-task (we can really,we can drink a pint whilst ordering the next) so now we have to play the role of a helpless male.

Delboy - I don't mind making the bread and putting the logs on the fire, but you can make the cooked brekkie! The pillow tree sounds lovely and i look forward to snuggling up with cuddles on it Val

And Val, i have no intension of going anywhere near the men's toilet, thanks!!!

Prefab - I don't think drinking a pint whilst ordering another counts as multi-tasking, but nice try!!

And tjt - Ive never heard of tomatoes being called Devil's testicles before!!! What effect do they have on you, or shouldn't i ask!!! And who are Del and Ron??? LOL

tomorrow is pancake day so have made some batter ready for tomorrow there is lemon, strawberries, cream, ice cream, bananas etc what ever you want on them val

val wonders into the cafe and throws open the doors to the conservitory letting the spring breeze in airing the place through been a few days since the place was used so better get the cleaning sorted

better wash the windows



right time to get kettle in then off to get more suplies

MMMMMMMMM, yes please Val! I haven't stopped this morning and now my fingers are hurting and im knackered!

Id love a cuppa and a piece of cake, i love that coconut sponge one!

Then ill be revived before i have to walk the dog!

Sorry, not been round, arthur and fybro has been terrible these past weeks, living life in a haze. Arthur has bitten my hands, making typing a trial.

Anyway, enough of me moaning, there were rumours of the cafe being an illegal immigration office. Time to take stock and pile high the cakes, bring out the trolley from under its dust cover, re-stock with medicines, hugs, blankets, lavender pats, wheaties, the list is endless and bountiful.

I will leave hugs to one and all, the cafe has been quiet, time to make some noise, no problem there if you leave me to do the pots. :roll:

Kettle is on, coffee pot full, some pecan and treacle pastries in the side.

Thanks Val, slow and steady. Hope you are ok. You do feel as if you are out on your own at times, but I know others feel the same, like you Rose, it is a horrid time at the moment. Due at the Drs next week for a review - might be in there a while :roll:

We have a thick frost here, will bank up the fire and make sure Cuddles is warm, pop some extra straw in the stables for Marigold and Yack.

The medicine trolley is back in full service. everyone take lots of care and rest as well as possible, hugs to all. XX Bubbles

glad fire was warm enough rose will just wash these mugs then start another bru.
think some one turned the gravity up so will take pain meds with mine and get some cheese scones in oven val

Cornflake tart and custard will be very nice, for those who prefer, I have some malteser ice cream, to go the whole hog with the chocolate thing.

A trip into Mansfield, gosh, that takes me back, over 40 years back, I guess it is totally different now. We were in Ladybrook, up on the hill. Mum and Dad loved Mansfield.

Right, hot chocolate, crispy cornflake tart, ice cream - that should hit the spot

yes there have been lots of changes they have opened up the station so you can get to it easyer from market under bridge up slope with shops up there as well market nothing like it used to be used to cover all the market square and would take hour and half just to walk around it but now it a shodow of its former self such a shame.
suffering pay back today so resting up as much as i can it cold damp and horrid today such a difference a day makes val
