Oh Broadmarsh, used to walk through there twice a day, first at school then when I was nursing, to catch the bus on Kings Street. I remember tottering through Broadmarsh in platform shoes, went base over apex down the stairs from Debenhams. (that's going back ). Yes, the square, with the fountains, and the lions, sadly that brings back a bad memory, we were at the bus stop, waiting for the one to school, a bus further up was empty, friend was stepping in and out of the road, chatting away and this bus came from nowhere and took her with it, oh it was so dreadful, we were helpless, it dragged her down to the square and hit one of the lions and stopped. Sadly she died and the whole school was in such shock. I remember that as if it was yesterday. The driver had left the bus without putting the handbrake on.

Sorry, I am off at a tangent. Lunch sounded very good, the theatre royal is a great place, been there a few times to see various "stars".

I think there are trams now, from what I gather.

Just to confirm that I have taken the emergency spoons out of the medicine trolley and put them in the new spoon drawer. There are 10 in there now. I will sneak into the pharmacy later and see what I can find. e060.gif

Time to bump the cafe into gear me thinks. A lot seems to have been going on, still trying to catch up over a huge pot of Tetley. Might take a while.

Sorry not been around much, waiting to see Cons Neurophysiologist next week, re pain and strange goings on in left hand / wrist. Has and remains uber painful. Now on tramadol as well, walking has gone down hill, one of those times, when your body is screaming at you, but I won't be defeated.

A good thing, my scooter arrived the other day, it's like a whole lease of life, I can go round the shops and markets, fab u lous. 8) Still getting used to it and took a few chairs out at the local coffee shop, I pleaded ignorance. All goes into the new car just fine.

I waffle on. Right, I will pop some mark's swiss rolls into the cake tin. Hope everyone is taking lots of care, have missed being around. Will be back later, heading to nap time, pills kicking in now. XXX Bubbles

I have changed the clock in the cafe, now I don't know where I am or if I should be in bed or not. f020.gif

e010.gif have had a whip round and prepared things for breakfast.

I might sit by the window a while, Cuddles is happy away, watching the world go by. Marigold and Yack are settled for the night.

Take lots of care and rest as well as possible, leaving hugs. XX Bubbles

I wish the cafe would stock Rooibos {Redbush} tea, I would come in here more often, or maybe green leaf tea.
    No milk or sugar!

n010.gif This is a little faster than my buggy, but needs be when speciality teas are required, duly bought Redbush, Green, White and every possible herbal tea known to man. Kettle is on. XX Bubbles

Not sure which and where to post, with both cafe's up and running.

Oh, thanks for bumping it up. Good to see the old cafe. Funny how you get used to seeing certain things around.

I think I shall start with having a nice cuppa. If anyone would like to join me.

Has anyone had snow today. We didn't down here but heard that it was going to snow for everyone else.
