    That was good of you Tony, our neighbours put some grit on our ramp and decking, which was good of them, they look after us when the weather is bad and I can always ask them to shop for us as they have a 4 wheel drive.
    We stocked up on most things, had a feeling that winter was coming early, running low on some drugs, so just ordered them online. Not running out of pregabalin again, that was an horrendous couple of days.

    It's good to be neigbourly BubblesDevere... Lol.. When I was badly the other wk the neighbour took OH shopping and kept checkin in to see if they could help with anything..

    We have some oats, help yourself to them all. Cake sounds nice, although fruit cake, mmmmmm, not a lover of it and as for Christmas pudding, eeeeeeeeeek. I will try some though as it sounds good. I used to love baking, but just don't have the desire to do any, which is sad. I make a wicked chocolate fudge cake, with hot fudge sauce.

    evening all

    been neglecting my cafe buddies lately so sorry :oops: :oops:

    struggling with one thing and another and the time seems to go so quickly when I am going so slowly :roll: :roll:

    brought some crumble in as I see it has been a topic of conversation ..... there are two .... one with mostly crumble, and one with mostly fruit :wink: no fighting now!!!

    right .... who's for a cuppa!

    Bubbles dont explode while doing the custard,I cant bend down to clean the mess up. had enougn of that with sunday dinner ending up out the oven & onto the floor :roll: Oil everywhere :roll:

    Oh I did that many moons ago with one of my honey and mustard chicken casseroles, threw the lot on the floor, was so upset I was bawling, took me ages to make it, none of the packet stuff, now I don't go near anything hot or in and out of the oven, leave that to OH, I send things flying all the time now, we use melamine plates as I am so cack handed, DR said it was the neuropathy, heh ho, damned it, yes please, more T.

    Morning folks. thought i would pop in as i have a snowy day off work today. Yepeee. Have tracked through blizzard with my dog and returned home looking like the abominable snowman.... then got a phone call saying the school is closed again so thought i would jump back into bed to get an extra hours sleep. Wrong could not get back to sleep because i am now hungry.
    Can i have bacon, baked beans, three slices of toast, tin toms, mushrooms, scrabbled egg. Do you have bacon grill as well. Oh yes a large mug of hot chocolate as well please. Hope everyone else is warm and dry and not to down with all this white stuff?

    Yum now what can i have any cake around.....fancy chocolate fudge cake with a mug of caffeine fee coffee please. This cold weather does give me an huge appetite....lets hope it is not tooo long a winter or i may have an image issue come the spring.

    Morning all, just ventured from the tunnel, had to walk to the docs, roads are too bad for cars, got caught in a real blizzard on the way home, couldn't even see where I was going!!
