    Have popped in for a nice warming cuppa - no snow here, but the frost is so thick I thought it had snowed again!

    Have made beef stew for dinner, just the dumplings to make and throw in a bit later.

    No, I'm not going anywhere today, Tony. The very cold air makes me wheeze apart from anything else.

    Am going to stay indoors and annoy hubby by pottering (he calls it fidgeting).

    We have got wall-to-wall sunshine atm, so looks lovely outside and is very cheering.

    The sun is out here too, very pretty skies, but very deceptive too... I have the quilt wrapped around my legs and feet, they never seem to get warm.. Lol


    Got a lot to do today but the body is fighting me... :roll:

    morning to all, warming hugs, grief it is cold, no idea how many degrees below, a lot by the looks of things. No way am I going out today. It looks lovely in the bright sunshine, but brass monkeys are a plenty.
    Pottering and sorting some washing, fussing about, nothing too taxing.
    Hope everyone is keeping safe and warm.

    There is no sunshine here ...just thick freezing fog :roll: I would love some of Annie's stew...with extra dumplings please :D
    Guess what I still have my friends puppy :D:D I would love another dog...but I couldn't keep up with one....used to love walking for miles with ours..

    hi all sorry not read back it so cold here still got the snow and ice and have to go hospital for 9am in morning it freezing already what it will be like in the morning bet i end up in a&e at least it not far from rhummy lol

    Think I'm all alone, will have a builders and a sneaky rummage round in the fridge.............mmmm, lemon drizzle cake, that will do nicely.

    Will sit over here by the window and watch the frost sparkle.

    Hi Annie, barbara,Tony, coco, val,Toni & anyone that ive missed.
    weve still got snow laying here that has now froze :roll:
    need to get out for meds & shopping tomorrow & not sure if i'll even make it down the path to the car.
    SOOO COLD Ops caps on there.

    lemon drizzle cake sounds nice along with a cuppa & warm by the fire.
    Hope your all managing to keep warm & safe.
