Morning Jojo. So unfair! You try to take the dogs a walk and really enjoy it but your feet do not😡 Any chance at all you could get a referral to a podiatrist do you think? I now have insoles but initially the first thing that helped me was changing to shoes like skechers and there were some clarks ones the soles of which were i think air-filled. Hotters do similar types.

I can't use 'down' escalators Reshmi! I'm so glad i am not the only one. Once when I landed at Stanstead they had to take me (and a person who was using a wheelchair) a secret way out staff only as there were no public lifts just escalators. I felt quite silly if there had been stairs I would have taken my time down them but escalators😥

Glad the soup warmed you if you felt cold. I do a bit, in the house, but am layering up for now.

I am also after new socks I got some from brexit a year ago they have cushioning in them really helped my feet. Oh I must tell Jojo that her feet are hurting.

Thanks for your kind thoughts for everyone who lost John and was at the funeral yesterday. It was full, the cemetery, completely full (he was 63) and a beautiful really personal service. Audible sobbing throughout which was heartbreaking to hear bless them all. What a lovely man he was. He will be missed.

Now you see I pictured the music being a bit folky, (all flutes, swishy dresses and beads) but no it's too modern for an old crock like me. To be fair they often do an 80's night of the Friday if you are camping, but I can't stay up that late and we weren't camping this year as we had visitors.

Elfie was telling his Daddy about trying to find the pot of gold. They intend to give it to people who need it when (yes Elfie says when) he is successful. We are ok we have enough, but some people don't.

Morning all 🌞 not much sun about yet but maybe letter - just put my charity bags out so the main thing is if it would kindly not rain til they go. Could fill a couple more straight away, where does it all come from 😬.

What a lovely person the chap sounded frog and to have such a turnout, 😔 food bank will be sad today won't it. I hope it is as good as possible and if (when) Elfie finds the right rainbow then yes he will be thrilled to help out too, for those less fortunate than hims-elf 👍. In the meantime there are always four-leaf clovers, he can keep an eye out when he's helping in the garden ☘️. I adore that bat 😍🦇 now that really is clever, to think of that spiral! it works so well. I hope your back is feeling better today - I know someone who did have an 'inversion table' for therapy and bat-like suspension 😯 I had forgotten that til now. I never fancied the idea 😬. Thanks I would use self scan if I had to I suppose but it's been a long time, last time was in a local supermarket before it closed, and there was always a problem if not one thing then another. Yes definitely needs a quiet time and no queue behind you 😱. Escalators is quite understandable they are a bit user unfriendly & off-putting at best aren't they. Take care see you anon :)

Hi Toady, I don’t know why. I didn’t eat any of my trigger foods yesterday, although I did cook a roast lamb dinner as I thought the little guy wood be ‘hank marvin’ (his fav phrase atm) after his first day at school. I know processed meat like burger or sausages sets me off but so far I have been fine with proper stuff. Maybe it was the prebought yorkie puds maybe they had sugar in them only thing i can think of.

Afternoon frogmorton I'm having a rest now I've been cleaning the downstairs doors and of course it's set my knees and my thumb and wrist off so upstairs will have to wait till Sunday I hope you are well and I hope you have a great day. My skin is coming off my feet and I've got a blister on my toes so it's more like burning pain it seems to be in proven since having a bath and putting moisture on.

Afternoon Joan, my eye is much much better, just a yellow tinge (it is like a bruise after all) but you would hardly notice now, I look almost human 😄. I wouldn't have put any washing out, it was dry here all morning when there was rain forecast, I was so pleased to put the charity stuff out in dry weather - then they didn't show up 🤷‍♀️. Finally round 3 it absolutely poured with rain proper cloudburst I had to drag the bags back in 🙄. Hope Charlie got himself sorted out 😬 he doesn't sound the most organized person but then neither am I 😳. Have a good evening :) xx

Oh look at Sucré Keef 👍️😊 spanking new school uniform I remember it well. His hands will be out of the end of those sleeves in a flash I bet. Cool shoes as well 😎. It was Mimas birthday meal and BR had a feast
Pizza and chips with squash gulped down the pint, what fun!
And butter sachets stolen from adulks, to put on a freshly baked bun

Salt and ketchup stolen from daddy’s plate, hurray!The sugar sachets from mummy’s coffee, he sneakily added to his drink
I said, “ How much seasoning have you put in your chips? There’s everything in there but the kitchen sink!”
But BR just laughed cheekily and ate sponge pudding for his afters
But suddenly daddy’s apple pie vanished, BR said, “It wasn’t me, my tummy is packed to the rafters.
My brother LA however, he eats everything in his vision
He ate daddy’s pie with custard - no guilt, no indecision”
At this point LA said, “But look at BR’s face!
He’s got apple all over his cheeks, this lying little brother - he’s such a disgrace!”
So BR was caught out, what a naughty dessert - swiping guy
Who also falsely accused his brother of eating the contentious and highly sought - after pie

I just got a bit confused, no you probably didn’t ask me lol,

That thermostat war hasn’t begun yet haha

No I decided it was best not to risk getting a horrific cold and go to group among the locusts today lol

I enjoyed going to the town centre yesterday,

but that was ookey enough really because my ears were hurting for quite awhile and even though I had packed a sensible winter jumper in my Bosh - bag I didn’t actually wear it because I was already wet with Riley is tears or whatever type of precipitation was falling from the sky haha
so had a very thin coat and a light jumper, so it was an ideal at all really

Thanks Toni, I remember at one point bill got very jealous of an even younger LA saying “mima, mima” repeatedly and he asked my mum why he did this and she replied that I was patient with him and told him stories, I think a bit of bill - related guilty silence ensued haha, but how silly being jealous of something a tiny child said, but never mind.

Thanks for telling me about the escalators that you have problems with them too. That’s very interesting to know, I’m wondering if it’s balance related I might try and get some physio. Thanks

I was going to re-read your posts again so I could fully absorb them but certain things it got in the way got a bit busy but never mind I think I’ve got most of it in my in my head now

I actually do have quite a good umbrella. I think the brand was Tresp**s

it’s one my mum actually got for me it’s really good though

I can use it on very windy days, of course, not gale force ha ha, but it is a pretty sturdy umbrella not as pretty as the ones from the accessories shop but useful and practical👍

my back is back to normal thanks toady I think the damp didn’t help yesterday and going out in the damp weather
Yes, I understand that escalators can be scary for a lot of people all the time

but for me the relatively new change in the scariness level as it were lol i think it’s due to balance issues but I’ve left a message with the rheumatology gods ha ha and hopefully they’ll get back to me soon enough for some physio or something like that

I could go on and on waffling about this a bit more but it’s almost 10 but if I don’t start my process of tidying up, I may not get to bed before the glitching hour as MZ calls it or something like that haha

Still you did right to avoid getting soaked and getting ill. I am also trying to get the layers right. It's warm once going on your walks but too cold to start with T shirts and single layers are gone for this year sadly😕

I do remember BIL being jealous of LA's attachment to his Mima, but honestly it was understandable you are prepared to make time fr them. Get on their level and play with them. That's all children need - time and love. Well obviously food too hehe!

Morning Toady raining here and the roof is leaking slightly where it connects with the extension roof….and I have a man coming to hopefully fix the washer. So I have to be ready and dressed for 8am and tidy here too…..

Nope Elfie is not at all sure about your puzzle he recommends sending it to the charity shop asap. Morning frogmorton I've been putting some cream on called magic foot it has helped a lot so I will keep washing my foot getting rid of dead skin and using magic foot cream. Yeah I get a lot of hand pain as well I got it yesterday cleaning the downstairs doors so upstairs doors will get done this weekend. I've sorted stuff out for charity obviously my area at tesco I bet the trays can be heavy if you get a lot In one tray I hope your hand pain settles down soon for you. Sorry about your day of watery things frog 😣 leaks washers and probably rain, oh cripes. Hope the washer person (woman 🤔 unlikely, I call, though there are all female firms of decorators etc these days & jolly good too) has been & gone successfully 🤞. Will you ever be doing anything else about the roof or is it one of those doomed to just come round again faults 😕. Yes it will be charity for the jigsaw, life is much too short (I would have found it time not totally wasted once I imagine), it has its marching orders. I will be taking some stuff to charity tomorrow but my pick up collection bag yesterday with heavier stuff didn't show, as I told Joan, can't be helped but annoying. Hope the weather holds for you for Sunday, it is drizzly here it says, but then again it says 97% chance of heavy rain here literally this minute and there's nothing 🤷‍♀️. Hello Joan, thank you about my eye 👍️. Well done getting your washing in like that! There isn't the sun around now to dry it in a trice, is there, so nice when you have barely pegged it out before it's ready to come in again. I don't like using the washer dryer really. Hope Charlie will get on ok, typical for the appointments to clash like that 🙄 shame we can't all go to one all-purpose place, I have known vets who have spoken to me more kindly and politely than some doctors 😉. All the best for Brenda's Sadie too 🤞. I will drop a few things off at the charity tomorrow the rest will have to wait, we used to have clothing banks outside local shops but they all went too 🤷‍♀️.
