Hi Debs, Tony, Annie, Val and everyone else who is in here, hugging the fire.
Another cold one tonight, minus 12 for us they said on the weather. Neighbours pipes have frozen, so much water has been ferried across to them. So far and touch wood, we seem to be ok, glad to have helped them. Told them to knock if they need anything.
Right, I will have a cuppa and sit by the fire, my hands are sore and splitting with the cold.

LOL, I was away on the LWA, writing reams of nursey advice, was on a role and had to stop myself, or I would have been there all night.
Lemon drizzle, oh yes please hun, with some full fat creme fraiche, that would be lovely. xx

    evening all x:))

well it is good to get out of the house & come here  as it gets a tad claustrophobic being in the house all the time.

feel rather trapped, even though if the snow/ice wasn't there I may well not have gone out today anyway - can't work that one out!

have brought in a pan of beef stew, and one of veg stew, so that all are catered for - should warm us up a bit.

Littlelegs has taken to her bed complete with old quilt of ours it is so cold at the moment. She is snuggled up so comfy and cosy that I could watch her for ages :)

right .... anyone for a cuppa?

Cheers my dears, lovely. Take care when out and about. It is SO icy, like yourself, need to check on the folks, go to shops, neighbours are keeping an eye on them, but I like to make sure things are ok. Have a shipping order of pills to collect too, will be at least two carrier bags full :o

Please WOnky, talking of little legs, where is Snowy? Out playing, have not seen him tonight.
Our cats are all comfy warm too, either on the beds, the back of the settee or on top of the scratch post next to the radiator.
Siamese is watching tv at the moment, bless her.

Got one cat fast asleep at the end of the bed and the other is doing his usual 'rounds' like some crazed sentry.. Bless him, he had another fit today, bit scarey but he's ok, he's had them a few times, he's got a leaky heart valve so when he gets giddy, like he did today bullying his sister, he collapses... It's weird when he comes around though, he's always starving, to the point of ravenous?? i had to give him two pouches straight away and he just wolfed them down like he'd never been fed!!

Here you go Bubbles, nice and hot to warm you through.

It brings a new meaning to 'fresh air' at the moment doesn't it?

Didin't read back properly had missed the arrival of 'snowy'

hope littlelegs will behave ..... can't have snowy learning all the she has learned from cris's slipperboy can we :lol:

cats curled up all over the place - sounds wonderful!

tony - that is amazing about your cat - maybe someone will be able to tell us why that happens.

right ... have left things out on the side for any latecomers and will now pop off to bed as I'm getting a little chilly sitting her.

    night night all

Bless him all over, hope he is ok. Our boy cat does the sentry thing too, looking for spiders or mice, not that we have either, we had enough of them in France. Anyway, he likes a wander round of an evening. He is totally spoiled rotten, will only eat his food with Mark's wafer thin chicken and crispy bacon on top. He is curled up on the scratch post at the moment, siamese is watching me and will be shouting for me to make a cup of T soon, (she gets to cuddle on your knee then). Mother, the older girl, is somewhere, I think on the bed, loving the fleecy blankets.

I think I will have to move, before I set like concrete, the bones are shouting a bit tonight. I will leave the trolley open, we all know what we take, mind you, best close the lid or Cuddles will be in. Snowy was out back and is now by the fire. Happy that all are gathered, Marigold is fine, with two heat lamps on and lots of fresh straw and hay.

Leaving a mountain of hugs, everyone take care and keep safe and warm. XXX Bubbles.
