    weve got a chip van come round about 7pm here but weve never used it,stupid really would save me cooking on a Tuesday. Mind you MIL has been sending meals over for lads 3 times a week,so i just have a spud or omelette for my tea.

    Right Bubbles has left her trolley and I have had a sleep position sent in a tanker so best have a quick raid of the trolley and hit the embers/

    it would be a treck, for sure, but it was a wonderful chippy.

    I am going to move now, cannot type on this notebook on my knees, with cushions and cats. Will say n night and everyone take lots of care, be safe and warm. xxxx Bubbles

    Night bubbles & cris, sleep well.

    I think i must hit the pillow too as eyes are dropping a sure sign that they need bed.

    take care & watch out for the awful weather coming again tomorrow afternoon :roll: :roll:

    Afternoon all
    We have heavy snow at the min, north west that is...they said Saturday morning not today :o think I will have an hot chocolate please....wonder if there is any stew...I am starving.. x:) kids will be made up if this snow keeps on they will get to use there sledge...it been sitting by the door for weeks...

    I have made a big pan of chicken stew, you can have as much as you like Barbara... Hope you like it, it's a little bit spicey!!
    It's been tryin to snow here but nothing too much as yet, but we're getting it tonight and tomorrow.. Hope not... Got a Rhuemy appointment tomorrow..

    Thanks for the stew Tony....the snow has stopped now...how strange it was coming down so heavy...I hope we dont get much at the weekend...Chritmas shopping and all that.

    Not really sure what the process is, the RA is fairly new to me, I have been an OA'er for many years too, it seems a totally different kettle of fish, lol...
    Even on a high dose of trams, paras and diclo's I am still in a lot of pain... Let's hope they have a solution.. :))

    Here Tony I have made some apple crumble and mince pies....you sit down and I will make a drink....I am minding my friends puppy again...and he has pulled all the tinsel off the tree :shock: just wait he is running round the room with it x:)

    Bought an Orange San Francisco Android phone, it's a touch keyboard so it will take a bit of getting used to but better than a keypad or stylus I think.

    Off to find me thermals.
    hope you enjoy your new toy Del, the android phones are brilliant, I have the Samsung galaxy, it's brilliant, and I fing the touch screen easier to use than buttons to be honest.. :))

    This is the second sams in a row for me, I find that if you try not to over-charge the battery and let it drain totally maybe once a week or fortnight it does seem to last a bit better. To be honest the batteries on the android ones can drain quicker than old style ones as they are working harder.
    I will pm you about some apps that may help.

    hi Everyone, Any mince pies going & a large mug of tea for me.

    Im making mince pies at the weekend with my daughter, shes due tomorrow weather permitting.

    we started of here with hail, torentail rain then that quickily turned to snow. Only got a light white covering but its freezing hard here now.

    Been out to get the last couple of xmas pressies & there wrapped now under the tree.

    Hope your all warm enough
