Of course my dad is doing breakfast, Full scottish for everyone:
Bacon, Sliced sausage, haggis, tattie scones, mushrooms and fries egg. Beans are available for those who want it.

He's also taking requests for dinner tonight.

Meanwhile I'm going to lie on the sofa and catnap all day. only got an hours sleep last night, just couldn't get my leg in a comfortable position.

Morning all, Matron here, I apologise for my late appearance - I don't quite know where the morning has gone! I think I can hear barbara12 trying to get her uniform on - yup, that squeaking and creaking is very suggestive of that, hang on - Barb! BARB! I left some talcum powder there for you, sprinkle that and - oh, you have? It still won't go on? I'll get some oil, hang on . . . .

Right, I have to inform everyone that the M.A.S.H. unit will be closing at 6pm tonight - it's Friday and mell needs his shed (oops, sorry, workshop) back for the week-end. As you old habitués will know, the unit is only ever open for a short period (it's an exhausting place to be and it takes days to for airwave to dry out) so you will all have to make alternative arrangements for the week-end. Right, time to spray oil on barbara12 and find the tea lady - anyone seen frog yet? DD

No wonder airwave got into such a state then - was it him that 'decorated' livinglegend's art work? I doubt it was Nurse Tillytop, though mind you, some of the desecration is flowers . . . . . .

I have no idea where the tea lady is, so you'll have to make do with me . .

Hope all the inmates, I mean patients are having a restful snooze?

If not I have some nice injections which may help!! n020.gif:grin:

We could certainly do with a little less of this!
    n015.gif

Hopefully by closing time with plenty of this n010.gif

    Everyone will be feeling d040.gif

Fingers crossed and gentle hugs to all the patients. ((( )))

    Chris

ps since the tea trolley is bereft of tetleys, jammy dodgers, treats left by Robs mum, and the illicit hooch! Wondered why the staff were a bit wobbly. Lunch will be served shortly.:grin:

Sorry I’m late, you guys. I was composing the MASH unit’s poem which I’ve just put up on the poetry forum. I came as quick as I could and, flippin’ ‘eck, that was quite some ride, strapped to the outside of the ‘copter.

Please may I be under Hawkeye either as a patient or trainee medic – I’m….er….flexible. If memory serves me right he can soon fill me in on the rudiments of anatomy.

    Oh prefabkid, boom-boom!

Hello stickywicket, it was lovely of you to pop in and visit us all, I appreciate it. I have read the poem - everyone listen! Go to the poetry sticky on chitchat NOW and read stickywicket's fabulous take on 'If'. It's at the bottom of p14. It's seriously good stuff. DD
