HI & thanks for asking! Hubby was hogging the machine today and with one thing and another it's this late before I've got on here!

I did go to the appointment, but I'm now not sure why I bothered :roll:

highlights of my trip include:

'That's not a rash that's spots' :shock: (when does one become the other? :roll: )


'That's not likely to be a drug reaction who told you that?' (erm ... the consultant dermatologist 6 months ago :roll: :roll: )


and a load of blood tests later I left being told to stay on the 4mg steroids until I see the consultant, unless the itching etc gets worse when I should go back up to 5mg. :roll: :roll: :roll:

and the point of that visit was lost on me, since my original phone message to them said that my GP and I had decided to do just that unless they wanted me to do anything else. :roll: :roll: :roll:

I guess I will only get a proper answer when I see the consultant at the end of April.

One of the most frustrating things about this whole malarkey is that we can only be given peoples' opinions (and we all know that two people can take completely opposing views on the same subject). The dermatologist says 'reaction' the other one says 'not' it's no wonder that us, the poor saps in the middle, get puzzled/confused/frustrated/left wondering why the phack we bother. I am so sorry wonky, it's the usual thing isn't it? Half a step forwards then a mighty 387 back. Put it all behind you for the week-end and have some fun instead. DD
