I am home now with my script, gonna bob next door and ask Eric mi neighbour to stick this patch on for me, it says upper back so I think I would have difficulty with that myself, haha...
It will have to cover part of my tattoo I guess

    Hi Julie, you ok hun?
We will see how these patches work out eh? Hopefully better than all the other rubbish I have been on...

Be back in a bit folks, neighbours have a kettle......... And, tetley tea bags   :wink:

Well, first patch is in place, let's see if it helps.. It's a three day thingamibob... I assume it will be a fairly mild one as I have not had them before 25MCG/HR...?
Hey, my hands feel quite good today, maybe the super dose of steroid is working for them..

really hope the patches help.... the pain doc told me to use the bit joust below the collar bone on the chest side cus i can't reach the back and don't have near neighbours

i dd collar a stranger i the village to tie my boot laces once... can't do it for patches though.......

Hope you are having a good night and tea left for the morning. Cris xx

    Hi Cris, Julie....
Well I have been unconcious since falling asleep last night, lol.. I woke as Janet was leaving for work and then to take my morning poisons but then back into a deep sleep, best night for a long time.. No waking up every time I moved... Hoping this is a promising start to things.. Hands are feeling ok, ache but not as painful.. Knees are so far behaving, but I know when I get up they will hurt from yesterday's activities, lol... I reckon if I had rested yesterday then they would feel even better..
I am rather groggy though, haha.... I suppose I will get used to the patch soon enough..

My fingers are firmly crossed for some good pain relief with these, I have a good feeling about them...

    :grin::grin:

I am not going to repeat yesterday's mistake even if I do get another bolt of energy, it is going to be a steady day today me thinks...

Sincerely wish you all a wonderful and sunny day

morning folks, woke at five in bloody agony with the knees... Had slept quite well up to that point though so still am improvement as far as I'm concerned. No doubt just payback, my own fault for showing off, walking huge distances between here and next door without sticks... Lol
I'm such a fool to dare such things...

Hope all are well this morning...

Twerp. You know what dire straits you have been in lately - just 'cos stuff is feeling better doesn't mean that you can suddenly ditch the sticks - well, you can but don't come moaning to us when stuff hurts again! It's a tater thing, isn't it? What is it with you blokes? The common sense gene is often lacking in the male of the species. I am glad to hear that overall things are much improved - is that the new pain patch working as it should? Let's hope so! DD

I really shouldn't be allowed our unsupervised should I? Lol
It's something to do with vestosterone, so called cos real men wear vests.....  It interferes with the more feminine gene, that one is known as the sensible gene.. We all have it but ours lives in fear of the vestosterone... Knowing that the vestosterone is much stronger and looks good in a vest :???:
It is a little known fact that the word vest comes from the Roman God Vesticus, God of Lager Louts and Silly Ideas....

Sorry, went a tad wibbly then, I blame the drugs

Hi tony sorry the sleep wasn't too good last night. Not fair is it when the night before was the best sleep in ages.

Hope you are not doing too much today and are able to enjoy this sunshine while it lasts.

Oh and keep your shirt on and use the sticks

    Take care

'Strewth Tony you make me laugh! I saw a T shirt, once, that said 'I am not a complete idiot. Some parts are missing.' Seems apt.

I am glad you have rested well, that is what has to be done from time to time. I hope you have a good journey tomorrow and yes, we will miss you, but you focus on having a good break with the lovely Mrs TJT (will she ever post again?) Take care, Centurion Vesticus Spasticus Superhero Pyjamicus. (affectionately known as 'twerp' (even tho it isn't) for short). DD

Hope things improve for you Tony. Have a good time in Skeggy and dont over do it. We dont want you coming back here complaining that your knees hurt and you have sun burn where you have been out in your Vest. Make sure you have your knotted hanky and your trousers rolled up if you go anywhere near the beach. Will definitely want to see that pic lol

Well, we got here safe and sound, I've got my knees up at mi Mums as they're a bit painful from the journey. They've all gone for a walk to the cafe but I'm gonna rest.. Got my second patch in place now. Had a decent nights sleep last night.. Knees were not too bad when I woke up at five.

The sun is well and truly out already.. Shorts will be replacing thermals and jeans soon

I hope that we are all well today
