    Thanks everyone

Ta to Cris for being PA - seems we can only post for each other these days :lol::lol::lol::lol:

I am royally tee'd off at the mo, and not doing a great job of hiding it I'm afraid (poor Mr Wonky has taken to wearing a flak jacket & helmet, and waving a white flag when hostilities appear to have resumed ...... or taking the more direct action of stuffing my mouth with a chocolate covered ice cream :lol::lol::lol: )

Situation update goes something like this:

1 Fatigue the like of which I have not had since ....well ...... the last time I had an infusion of infliximab now I think of it

2 Wrists have discovered that they can scream after all

3 Left ankle has tendonitis and I have to rest it - resting it only helps the ankle .... the rest of me wants to move

4 I missed my MTX yesterday as I appear to have either a flare or an infection (neither I or the GP knows how to work out which it is!!) so better safe than sorry.

5 all sorts of bits of me have started to come out in protest at some perceived injustice I (or Arthur) has done to them, and are therefore fuelling the need for the flak jacket for all who know me

so, as you can see I'm fine :lol::lol::lol::lol: and just getting on with what my (thankfully retired) consultant used to term as a 'normal life' :evil :evil :evil :evil :lol::lol::lol::lol:

    hugs to you all (((((((((((())))))))))))
    and thanks for asking

Wonky, it looks like the only bit of you still functioning properly is your sense of humour. Very well done on that score. It can't be easy but it sure will help you get through this. and I hope you get through it soon. (I bet Mr W does too!) Stick at it. You're doing great - both of you.

The dross this dross throws at us is beyond belief sometimes. You will get through it, wonky, of that I have no doubt. You know that the infusion has this effect on you but hopefully the better-feeling time is drawing ever-closer, and that you can enjoy it when it comes - pace yourself tho! DD

    Morning (just) Wonky,

Just a few more good wishes. Hope they work and you can have a decent Bank Holiday - if the wind lets up.

    HI folks

seems I only manage to post at stupid o'clock recently

just wanted to thank you all again for your posts, and to let you know that at least I got my MTX this week - eventually - as they did urgent bloods yesterday and they came back fine ( why do they always do that when we feel shift?) so got the MTX today.

basically I think arthur has decided he's been ignored for too long so has camped out in every available joint, with a few new ones thrown in for good measure   so I am trying to pace myself, and finding that life is less about how many spoons I have left, as how long is my piece of string each day ...... and sometimes it's only cotton I have, but other days it's good strong rope. GIves a new meaning to a ropey day eh?:lol::lol::lol:

    hugs to you all

Hope you will soon feel a lot, lot, lot better and the girls are ready to sing you a lullaby as the Slurp machine is already snoring...

leaving you ((((( ))))), slurps and a bag of semi soggy slobbers..... Cris xxx
