I've had a look at the villa, Peter, and I think we should definitely do a detour there tomorrow. It looks very inviting with the pool etc. We might even get to see those dayglo mankinis Rehab mentioned

'nice bars and cheap food',the Pigalle area of Paris sounds good to me rehab, not too keen on window shopping in Amsterdam had new windows fitted a short while ago!..............
On the other hand Cleethorpes sounds equally tempting, not much to choose between the two.Confused........... :???:

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Due to some disagreements about the comparative merits of Cleethorpes or Paris, the decision has been made that we will miss out both places, and head for Bruges and Amsterdam instead.
This decision is final as our poor driver, Cath, is getting dizzy with driving round in circles.
So tomorrow it's beer and chocolate in Bruges. I hope this will meet with your approval

Thank you Joan - You are right I was beginning to think that I was already at Blackpool on the waltzers. I'll set the Sat Nav for Bruges now.0

Are we there yet?
Not quite. Good things come to those who wait, Peter.0 -
Dotty has been sat quietly, midway down the bus, munching popcorn.
I dont care where we go as long as i dont have to walk far off the bus. Hopefully our driver will park close to the kerb outside a bar somewhere so i can be filled with el vino0 -
okey dokey!
I have just had a windfall deposited into my bank, so i think it only fair to plonk £500 into a plonk fundWill that be enough? Its that long since i went on a bender i dont know how much drinks cost!
Drinks all round!!0 -
delboy wrote:We should stay at the http://www.relaisbourgondischcruyce.be/ Eddie gives a wonderful service and it's right on the canal. We had afternoon tea on the balcony overlooking the canal. From there it's a short hobble to get a boat trip too.
The Relais Bourgondisch Cruyce hotel looks really beautiful, so we are definitely staying there.
A leisurely morning stroll around the town sampling the chocolates and the Belgium beer, followed by a boat trip this afternoon and tea on the balcony served by Eddie. What could be nicer :?: It's a lovely sunny day too.
Drinks all round on Dotty later. Even better :!:0 -
i will stay in bar and skip boat trip on canal, done it and was board stiff did wander past the lovely people in windows who have lost there clothes but a lot of them well would be waste of money looking at the state of them. what we having for breakfast ????val0

Val. we're in Bruges, not Amsterdam :!:
I don't think there's any of those ladies in the windows of Bruges as far as I remember
It's more likely to be shops selling lace and chocolates

Must have dozed off.Cleethorpes has certainly changed (not that I've ever been there).................. :???: Must be a lot of foreign visitors here, they all seem to speak a different language (although do up North anyway so I've been told I hasten to add).
