Hi Elna, DD, Sticky, Sue, Joan, Barbara, Julie, Sue, Tony, Marion, I, Berty, Val and All,

Thank you so much for this kindness... I am so grateful to you cus its been a bit endless of late and I try so hard to turn it into a upbeat thing but Pop's I so miss.....

She was a senior employer... now thats got nothing to do with age its cus, rightly or wrongly, some I am more fond of than others...... I know thats wrong but bare in mind I rescued them all and well some are more important if you could allow me that?

I don't treat anyone of them different but its how I feel about them I guess....

Hop's had chronic separation anxiety. really bad but not surprising given what had happened to her..... So cus of how bad it was and how bad she got she was always with me till she broke her leg at 13...... Its was a bad, bad, bad break as well.

For 10 weeks we tried to get it mended, and she had to go in a big indoor kennel cus she wasn't allowed to use. Trouble is they, like us, get brittle bones and they didn't even try and mend so she lost her leg. It was a front one.... not as easy for them as a back one.

She still came with after that but I did put her indoors and well cus of the caging and not coming with at all she had actually got better. Then she became a bit senile but we still went for gentle wanders round the fields.

i think having had her as a kinda shadow for 7 years is bound to make the space where she she be big eh?

Elna I went through both Beds and Bucks yesterday and wonder how close you were  I went wrong on the M3... ended up in London yet again, I always do if I go on the M1. I got the M1/M3 interchange fine its what I did next that went wrong

Will be thinking of you and thanks for your support. xx

DD Your hugs much appreciated and hope you had a reasonable week end? xx

Sticky Your not alone on the roof tonight... Slurps is in disgrace.....My mate let me use her settee for the night cus I was shattered to put it mildly. So this morning we were outside talking by the this lovely pond..... raised brick wall round it and a host of fish she had grown for 20 years and very fond of/..... you can guess what Slurps did can't you....The fish were ok though but 191 miles with a wt smelly dog and well as the embarrassment means she yours ......

    Hope your ok flowr? xx

Sue Thanks flowr and don't forget we shall be in your pocket... I promise to keep Slurps dry before she leaps in  xx

Joan I don't know why everything has to go wrong but maybe in the grater scheme of things there is a reason or I have to learn something?

You ready to start chicken duties again? It depends on that foot and I so hope its getting better and has eased your pain? Love to Sue as well as you xx

Barbara I promise you the kindness of words can help so much and I sending some hugs back to you and possibly a smelly fishpond aroma lab  xx

Julie You never have to apologize for not posting... never. I can't read every post either flower and I miss so much and wish I hadn't but my eyes are never too good and just now they seem especially bad.

Thinking of you as well and leaving a ((((( ))))) and as bucket of hopes xx

Sue Sorry I got you 2 Sues mixed up in order but thanks flower and yep sedative made all the difference. I didn't break through it till the last but one biopsy... they hurt a bit to much but by then it was pretty much over... sedative is the way to go

Hope you had a good weekend? xx

Tony I know you understand and thanks for the text a well. Its hard to loose a friend and thats what they are. Unconditional masters who give more than they take in most cases eh?

Bit behind the last 2 days cus of all the driving but will go look in a min  Hope your having a good time? xx

Marian Thanks flowr and hope that hip is behaving and the Hernia is helping you? I think thats the one your on but my brain is a bit shot  I love the way I try to pretend its unusual  Best leave some smaco's eh? xx

I It was a long way but I would do it again tomorrow if need be.

Hop's filled the hole my old lurcher cross had left and thats another reason she was special. They looked alike as well. I guess she is in that meadow with the big oak and has 4 legs now and no pain. She was just so tired.....Its just such a hard thing to do.....

Leaving you the manky drake an Sid and will widen your food tastes to Slurps  Hope your doping ok and had a decent weekend? xx

Berty I know you recently lost your lad and I hope this hasn't reminded you and brought it all back?

Be thinking of you tomorrow and sorry i am late getting in. Got everything crossed that Ned will soon be a good lad and so much better. xx

Val Do you know we paid 2.05 for a cup of tea that wasn't that good yesterday.... that one cup not the both..... The vat of tea is so much needed a I have been well down on tea breaks

Hope your ok flower and feeling a bit better now? xx

Please forgive me for being behind with pm's I will get them done asap but I have been driving a lot and I have bones yelling so am hoping the pregabs will ease back in a min and let me sleep....

Leaving a sleep draft and a big thanks you and hug to you all. xx

So, just to re-cap. Slurps is wet and smelly and in disgrace so her punishment is to be with me???? It's a good job we're mates.

    Hi Julie,

I didn't really do anything to find it cus Toni and my mate both came up with route plans and another guy told another route and they were all different but I did know it was right of Birmingham and above London

The route plans got us near enough to see a signpost

Coming back to my mates I did go wrong but... well.... I knew i had so turned round and went the other way asap......it was ok the other way round

I know the road back here from my mates well cus have done it a few times now. As ever it was so good to cross the Tamma again  Drove into rain but whats new this is Cornwall

Hope your ok and leaving you some ((((( ))))) xx

    Hi Cris,

Well to be honest you did far better than I would finding the right way to go. I must admit that I do tend to spend a fair bit of my time going round in circles trying to find places. Hey ho, at least I get to see some off the beaten track areas.:lol:

Oh a manky drake you do know how to tempt a girl. Ok Sid and Manks will be welcome come Sunday lunchtime.

Poor Hops, what a sad time she had before you found each other. It is so hard to let them go but as you say she will be at peace now.

    Hugs as always,

As ever, despite your pain and grief your humour comes shining through. I have read back and the thought of you with a wet smelly dog (until Dorchester) and the glorious understatement that the M1 is 'some big road' has had me in a burst of the giggles. You utter darling.

I must admit I am a little confused about sticky - is she still on your roof? Why? Is she in disgrace or is she performing some useful function?

As for life without your shadow - you gave her a quality of life, love and care she sould not have found elsewhere, I hope that is some sort of comfort. ((((())))), love and Custard Creams for you know who. DD

I live here. I arrived on foalwatch several weeks/months ago and have now claimed squatters' rights. I currently perform no useful function but I'm very decorative. (Well, the sheep think so and sheep are renowned judges of aesthetic qualities.) Haz likes me too and we keep stealing a few secret hugs when no-one else is looking. Please do not inform Mr SW.

Ah, I see! Thank you for sorting that out: I knew you had arrived for foal watch, knew that said foal had been born, but obviously you are now a permanent fixture - ooooops, sorry, feature - and you certainly add a certain 'je ne sais quoi' to the whole ensemble. DD

((( Cris))) so sorry to hear about Hop. Izzy has come to see you and the employers, she is sad for you, and looking for a sachet. Little madam!!

Your locating skills whilst driving sounds as bad as mine, only I have got a sat nav and still can't do it!!! The boys won't come with me anywhere I don't know as I am so useless.

Izzy has bought supplies for you, ice cream, a cuppa, gentle hugs, a chore fairy and a magic pain wand, can be used 3 times

Hi I, Vonski, Lynn, DD, Sticky, Joan, Suzy and Izzy, Barbara and all

Sorry I stick of sheep big time ... my fields stinks of sheep ad Breagh..... well.....

She is funny but equally very naughty.....

We had a break in from next door, nothing knew about that but Bre decided to break out and go join the flock sheep in my field...... Wish raised the alarm cus she was left behind and didn't think she should be

I haven't recovered from the run the today and ache everywhere as well as have advanced tiredness, but that could just as easily be the anemia, but got the bucket, returned Wish to the shed and shut the door of a fashion....

Bre's door making is worse than mine

Trogged over the field rattling the bucket and wondering how was I going to find her in so many.... groaned when I saw one was a ram...... but Bre came out the flock and had a mouthful of food then she returned with me... as did all her new found friends... and I got her back in the shed....

Think there is little doubt the ram went into their shed but thankfully the girls don't have dye on them.....

So the arms have been clobbered on the end of the hammer and the neck has been tense cus its involved a lot of scowling and glaring at Bre

Hey Sticky you hauler when they come back... and come back they will cus they always do but the ram.... Stay on the roof girl!

I have to say the stomach thing has eased off and got over its biopsies and except for being half dead I have got a lot better

Will chuck the spare custard creams up to the roof dweller and I you can have the flying duck if you like.... she is table trained and quite large

Thanks as ever and sorry again about the smell..... Love Cris xxx

    Hi Cris

Just trying to catch up a bit and so sorry you have lost your loving shadow.
Hey who or what in Bucks? If you can say on here. My niece just spent 3 years there at Uni. so I was there for graduation a while back. She off to Cranford studying for a year now.

Sticky hope you didn't get sunstroke on that roof today, I am glad DD sorted out that dilemma you have been up there a while!!

Cris I hope you are awash with custard creams and can eat them without payback. I send some more healing juice and hugs to add to those already piled up here. ((( )))
    Take care
    love Chris xx

Do you think you could pass me the hammer, please, skezier. I think I'll nail myself to the roof just in case the ram arrives. I've spent so long with the sheep now he just might mistake me for one. I have my loudspeaker at the ready.

Hileena, the sun is nothing compared with what life with the ram could hold.

Skezier, have you ever, ever had a kind of 'normal' day???
