 Herman (the sourdough German friendship cake) arrived most unexpectedly this morning, along with instructions! :D

It is a lovely way to share :D

I shall pass some of the mixture to my neighbour in a couple of days.

    Hi Barbara
    :lol:http://www.hermanthegermanfriendshipcake.com/ :D

Lucie and Lola called round with "Herman" :D Lola has carefully been stirring Herman each day for 7 days including today. I now continue with the instructions.

 I had a day like you had today when I met my friend on Monday for lunch - good isn't it? :)

    Love

    this certainly made me happy.
getting the news that my mate and work colleague has just broken the world record with a time of 7.33 for 60m sprint in Finland and brought another gold home for Great Britain.
for a 45 year old that's ruddy great going and im so proud of him.

that would have taken me about a week to finish :D

My 21 year old daughter just came into the room and gave me a big kiss and a cuddle. When I asked what that was for, she replied "for being you". Ahhh.

Mr DD and me went to Felixstowe and saw the sea. It didn't look that inviting but it sounded lovely. We also went to the St Jude's Brewery pub (which is not as pleasant as the one in Ipswich) but a pint of Wherry's Once Bittern always goes down well. (Read and weep, prefab and Tonesp) :D DD

The footings are all in place and the corner posts cemented in, and although I did no building work, I did supply endless cuppas to the work force and plenty of grub :D it's so exciting for me to see one of my life long dreams taking place! Ive got a big passion for astronomy and having my own disability friendly observatory is a dream come true :D

I too like Saturdays, Georgie, and the best time on that day is 10am. The week-end has just begun, it still has Sunday to go - bliss!

I washed the kitchen and bathroom floors. That is an achievement for me. I then watched the Boat Race boys trot out: yum-yum! :D

'Easter from Kings' on BBC3 or maybe BBC4. I didn't even know they did it. (Cue resolution to get back down there for Evensong.)
