It was a scare.....she is on warfarin and her levels were sky high.
But they've given her something to counteract it, kept her under obs for 24 hrs and is now home with instructions to rest and her own GP will monitor her

I lost my Mum 10 years ago DD- it's her birthday this week. It is hard to think that an entire decade has passed without them, all the things they have been unable to share with you, good and bad.

It can't be an easy time for you at present but I hope you start to recover soon.

Hello everyone, once again I send thanks to you all for your kind messages, your support is wonderful and I really appreciate it.

I had my first ever CT scan today on me bonce - a doddle it was (I'm in Yoda mode ) Luckily everything is OK. Part of the 'crisis' was about something possibly being amiss in my brain (go on, treat yourselves, make the jokes, I've heard 'em all already and they won't bother me) but everything is clear. I feel a slightly happier DD. Only slightly though. There's other stuff going on and I still have the hurdle of the nerve conduction tests on Friday. Cripes. Yikes. Deleted expletives a-plenty. DD

Well that's one thing done and dusted. As for the nerve conduction test, it should be a breeze for someone who has it in black and white that they're alright in the head!
Seriously though DD, it will be o.k it's uncomfortable not painful.
I'll be in your pocket anyway, for moral support.
