Afternoon all, again I send my deepest thanks for your continuing messages of support and encouragement.

I've treated Daisycar to a good clean inside and out as I am socialising tonight with my friend Wendy and I am being chauffeur. I looked inside D this morning and thought 'Even I don't want to get in that!' but now it's a different story. Mr DD is away from home tonight so I am having a lovely lazy day inasmuch I ain't made the bed but probably will wash up. Wend and me are off to the Marina tonight, a shop down there is doing a charity do in aid of childhood leukaemia (I've put too many vowels in that I think) so that should be fun. Hope so, it's time summat was.

The air here today is soooooo oppressive - I intensely dislike weather like this. I don't mind heat as long as it is dry - this level of humidity though is awful. I hope you are all having the best day you can manage. DD

The weather is dreadful. this muggy weather if there is a bit of sun isnt quite so bad....bad enough!!!!! but when its like this I just keep thinking I wish it would thunder...not just rain and be muggy
