Good luck for tomorrow, May

May (Kellerman) sees her 'breast man' tomorrow. This is the one even her onco is scared of :shock: so she wasn't looking forward to it last time she posted and I doubt anything has changed since then.

May, I hope the appointment isn't as bad as feared. I am thinking of you and John very much. Take care. (((())))

    Oh I am so sorry folks for not replying sooner. Its been mayhem in this house and truth be told I haven't looked at the computer until today.
    We've had OT's, Stroke nurses, and even a doc dropping in as well as a helper to get John showered and dressed every morning which I apparently get free for 6 weeks and then have to pay which I gladly will.
    Now the breast man. Well he smiled!!!!! Never seen this before and he was really nice. Now I am to have checks every 6 months and ignore the mobile unit as he said they are a law unto themselves.So a really positive good appointment.
    John is hard work but my son in law who is the service manager for Audi has taken his car away so he can't attempt to drive as he started his car up on Sunday and freaked me out.Admittedly I'm a nervous wreck at the moment. He came shopping with me yesterday 3 hours of leading him and a trolley round morrisons and then he walked into a bollard as we were going back to the car. I was exhausted.
    He has an appointment with the specialist on September the 2nd and I have my onco appointment in September. I also have an appointment again at the Xray dept on the 28th of this month and an appointment at the GP's for John on the 20th. All fun folks.
    My knees have now joined in the fun so now I don't think there is any part of me that doesn't hurt.....and stress...yes well to be expected.Even my head cracks when I move it.
    Again apologies for being so ignorant at not answering sooner. I am thinking about you all and know you are always there for me.Bless you
