    I am so sorry to hear that Val is no longer with us. r.i.p Val You will be missed by so many. xx And condolences to your family, I shall be thinking of them at this time.

    I have only just heard the very sad news that Val has passed away. Although I only ever met her on here, I felt that she was a true friend. As others have said, she was a lovely lady, always there for others with kind words and understanding. I will also always remember her wonderful sense of humour which shone through in so many of her posts.

    Thank you, Mell, for posting about Val's death. I know how sad you must be feeling to lose such a good friend.

    My condolences to Val's husband, and all her family and friends.

    Hi Joan and all and thanks for the kind words guy's and Gal's Val would have have been amazed by all the kind posts from you all. Now I've been in touch with Val's family and I have an address where you can send condolence cards etc if you so wish, just PM me and I can PM it to you.

    Val had arthritis and she cared for us all so very much as we did her. She was the true meaning of Arthritis Care and we shall all miss her.

    She was a very brave lady.

    Some pink flowers of farewell for you Val, no more pain now, rest in peace.

    I notified Len yesterday via e mail and although he doesn't stalk these halls anymore he knew Val and wanted me to post these words for her.

    Val, rest in peace my friend, you were so so kind when I lost my Dad, even sending flowers to the funeral, what a kind an gentle lady you were and I will never forget that.

    I read this yesterday and I've been trying to think of the word that could describe Val. I can think of lots of little words like amazing, beautiful, lovely, strong, tenacious but there just isn't a word big enough to describe our gorgeous Val. Much loved and much missed. Have peace lovely wonderful lady xxxxx

    Sorry all Ive been up to all sorts here, I tended to think of Val as a very wise owl, she took me under her metaphorical wing when I washed up this forum shores way back in 2008, And what amazed me about her is she never had a bad word to say about anyone ever, she just didn't go there, and more astonishingly even when she was gravely ill she always talked down her suffering to protect others around her including me, that is just how Val was, totally selfless even when she was gravely ill God bless her. :cry:
