Thank you, DD for keeping us updated.
Continued <<positive vibes>> for the lovely Lucy, tremendous Toni and the rest of the fabulous family - got all my fingers and toes crossed that Lucy gets to go home next weekend.
Please tell me if I'm over-stepping the mark but maybe we could arrange a card for Lucy from an online card place from all of us?
Sending love x0 -

Thanks for the updates DD.
I'm not surprised there have been weepy moments. It is such a difficult time for them. I'll keep my fingers crossed that they get home next week.
Starburst, that sounds like a good idea. Do you know of a good card site?Christine0 -
Good Morning everyone
I am so sorry for not getting on sooner - thanks though to DD for her updating of this thread.
Yesterday certainly had it's ups and downs The Doc came to see Lucy and we got our 'plan' so we know she will have her last treatment of this stage next Thursday.
She will have another intrathecal and bone marrow sample taken next week and once all results are in....they will start looking at 'home'.
Once home she will be back in for an intrathecal weekly and bloods 3x weekly. I have seen others do this and have treatments while they are technically at home. Things like platelets/scans etc.
Before Thursday she will start on some of the oral chemotherapy, which continues for a long time at home.
So far we have a quiet weekend planned with only a few visitors:)
At least we don't have to 'teacher-dodge' at weekends She really can't be bothered with lessons ATM
I must thank you all again for all your support. I am so grateful that you have taken the time to post your messages. I have read them all (not easy on my phone ) and every single one means so much to me .
Thanks again - and all of you - please take care!!

Oh frog! Did you have to post? My eyes have gone prickly and you know I don't do that sort of thing
Mig and Barbara have said it all. You and Lucy are two very special people and however you're managing to cope (I don't know) you're doing a great job. (((())))If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Toni, I have always believed in the saying that 'positive things happen to positive people', and never really believed a great deal in luck playing a large part in anything. Before Lucy's illness you always appeared to me (and many others I'm sure) to be an extremely positive person. Your positive outlook has helped you during the past weeks and will help you in the weeks to come. You have shown such strength in the face of adversity, so keep going and remain strong .
Best wishes to all your family0 -
Good to hear from you frogmorton, and the utmost of best wishes for Lucy's weekend home do hope it goes as planned; & also for her continuing treatment (school? pah to that  ). toady xx0

Great to hear from you Toni. It seems like home is getting closer. Hope it all goes well with the tests and the chemo. At least Lucy can relax a bit over the weekend. Hope the teachers aren't pestering her too much. I'm sure she can catch up later when she feels more like it. Don't forget to look after yourself too. Hope the rest of the family are doing ok.Christine0
