    I had my dressings removed on Thursday. The scar I have is about an inch long (2.5 cm for those not old enough to be familiar with imperial measurements) As I had internal stitches it is extremely neat. My knuckle is very smooth with no nodules although still enlarged due to bone deformity and a dislocated index finger, but I expected that.

    Others can't see much difference but I can and I'm very pleased with the results and I am able to use my enlarged knuckle joint as a 'finger' once again. Yippee :D:D:D

    (I was tempted to put a photo on the site but my hands are so ugly that I wouldn't want to give anyone nightmares :lol::lol: )

    Yes, our version of 'success' is different, isn't it, Legs. I'm so pleased it all turned out so well.

    As for a photo - I wouldn't have a nightmare but I might wonder how you got my hands :wink:

    32.gif D'you know Barbara, I don't think even I'll get away with that :lol::lol:

    I must add that I have seen such a difference since my wedding removal and I didn't realise how much it was 'pinching' me whilst doing ordinary household tasks. My finger feels so much better without it and, surprisingly, Mr Legs hasn't left me ..........yet!

    Take care.
