    Thankyou so much Ron, DD,applerose, daffy..I have just rang the ward to see if there will be a bed..and yes there is :shock: ..and I still have to be there for 7..not sure if I have said but they have built 2 new wards since my last THR and most are single on suite rooms :) ..mind you I did like the old ward with 50 something beds ,we did have a laugh...you will never know how much you have helped..love to all of you xxxx

    News in the café is that Barbara is ok all done, in some pain, but coping :)

    I wonder how soon they will let her escape?

    These days it can be as few as 3 days can't it?!

    Thank you for that information, Frog, I'm not surprised she's still in some pain, it's a big op albeit on a fairly straightforward joint. I hope she is allowed home soon but not until she feels ready.

    My most recent text from Barbara was this afternoon {Sun}

    It can be 3 days. I went in on Fri and came out on Sun.


    Anyway...not the point. She did say she hoped to be out by tomorrow or Tuesday.
