    Mig,

Hope the picc line goes in without any hassle. Good luck with the next lot of chemo. Every session is one less to endure.

DD - thank you so much for keeping us up-to-date so well.

Hello, the line was fitted earlier this afternoon with no problem, hopefully she is now safely home and resting. Clinic tomorrow then, all being well, the next round of chemo on Thursday.

Hugs to you my lovely. DD

Evening all, I have heard from mig. The chemo went well, the picc line made things easier but they were still cautious in the speed of application so she has had a long day and is tired now. A week today they are due to flush the line and her next dose is in three weeks. She has been reading your messages and assures me they are helping - she says thank you. DD

Glad that the line is working well, cautious is best, but, tiring for sure.
Get lots of rest and of course do what you fancy as well. Topping up the strength pot and sending loads of gentle hugs too t4591 t4591 t115006 t115006 XX

Me too, mig. I hope things improve for you. As long as the chemo does its stuff that's all that matters long term. ((( )))

And a few for your trusty scribe, DD. ((( )))

Domperidone! that was one anti-sickness reminded us of champagne mig!

Then metoclopramide worked for a while, but in the end the only one which really worked was nosinan and they were loathe to prescribe it, but it worked.

Sending much love and strength from myself and Lucy t4591 t115006 t115006 t115006

    Dear Mig,

I hope the sickness has subsided by now - we have another sunny day here, but the wind is cold, perhaps a day to look out of the window rather than sit outside.

Sending lots of love from all the mod team

Hello my fellow MMs, I've heard from our girl. She's not much improved from yesterday and is back on the laxatives for obvious reasons. I think resting is the best plan, don't you? DD

Thanks DD. One of the problems with metoclopramide is that it can cause the dreaded constipation! It's a vicious circle. Hang on in there our mig. t4591 t115006 t4591

Resting is very important, you are right DD. Maxolon is a good anti sickness drug, works in two ways, but I won't give a pharmaceutical lecture
There are many others, as Toni said, Nozinan is always a considered drug, not a first choice.........

Extra anti yucky hugs ((())) and some more strength to help as much as possible t4591 t4591 t115006 t115006

Take care XX Thanks DD, you are an excellent scribe :)

Morning all, she did not sleep very well so plans for today are napping whilst wearing her PJs. I shall be doing the same (but wearing mine, not hers). DD
