in Living with arthritis

Hi there, I got my diagnosis yesterday for osteoarthritis in the knee. I am 32 and also have sciatica and nerve damage in the spine. My mind is all over the place right now and not sure how to feel about the diagnosis. I’d like to talk to people who know what it’s like and maybe get some information and helpful tips in dealing with it. I suffer from depression and anxiety.

    Hello all,

    I'm new here and am looking forward to following the discussions and maybe joining in where appropriate.

    i have RA (inactive atm) and osteoarthritis (very active!).

    Finding the right pain management would be very welcome.

    Have you discussed pain management with your GP? It is also worth popping into your local pharmacy to see what over the counter options there are.
