Arthrosamid. Can anyone help please
Hi there. I had an Arthrosamid injection in my right knee two weeks ago. Brief history is 3 x arthroscopy for medial meniscus tears (sport related). Grade 3 OA now. I’m 51. Have tried Ostenil Plus with some but limited effect. Probably heading towards partial knee replacement in future but wanted to try Arthrosamid to push out as long as possible. Have high awareness and understanding of the data around Arthrosamid so know it doesn’t work for everyone. Post injection have had really bad flare up. Extremely stiff / sore knee, if anything it’s worse than before. No infection. Has anyone else had this kind of reaction to Arthrosamid? I know it can take up to 3 months to reach peak efficacy but I am just really surprised by the discomfort I’m experiencing two weeks post treatment. Would love to hear other peoples experiences. Cheers Paul

Hi @Paul1973_ , unfortunately I cannot offer any experience on arthrosamid, however you may find @Emess’ recents comments useful.
Also, if you look up athrosamid using the search feature, you will be able to find a number of posts where people share their thoughts/experiences. I have attached a link to make it easier :)
