Silastic big toe joint replacement
Hi I had a silastic joint replacement in my big toe almost 3 weeks ago. I’m wondering if anyone has had this procedure? I had a hip replacement last February and I’m sure the recovery wasn’t as painful as this. I realise it’s early days but the pain is bad, I’m wondering if this is normal?

Hello @shazb
Perhaps follow up with the team at the hospital or maybe there's already a follow up appointment on the books. You could speak to the GP about pain control ? I've popped some links in for you, the last 2 are to threads on the forum.
