Hip Surgery with other medical conditions, any luck finding a surgeon?

Hallo everyone, I am new and this is my first post. I would like to sound out opinions about the pros and cons of relatively complex hip surgery. I am 78. In 2020 I was diagnosed with Chronic Myelo-Monocytic Leukaemia, for which I am on watch and wait with no treatment. I have for a number of years had pain in my upper left thigh, which varies in location and intensity. I also have peripheral neuropathy with numbness in the feet, toes, ankles and shins, and am experiencing increasing stiffness and heaviness in both legs. I am awaiting the results of blood tests for a possible neurological condition. X rays have shown up severe OA in both hips and knees. I fractured my right neck of femur in 2001, my left in 2011, and have three screws in each hip. I also have a degenerative spinal condition and curvature of the spine. As if that is not enough, I have recently been diagnosed with an inguinal hernia! One orthopaedic hip surgeon is very loathe to operate on my hip because my leukaemia brings with it a risk of bleeding and/or infection. I will be getting a second opinion next month. I would very much like to hear from anyone who may have undergone hip replacement surgery and who also has diverse medical conditions, if they had difficulty finding a surgeon and what the consequences of surgery were.
