Hello
Hi everyone just introducing myself, I have recently been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in my hands and feet but have been living with osteoarthritis for about 12 years , I am in constant pain and can barely walk I'm 56 years old I have had physio 4 times and they still won't refer me to a surgeon to maybe get a hip replacement, so life is difficult, I have 3 grown children and 9 grandchildren and used to go out with them all the time but now I spend most of my time at home.

hi @teresa123 , welcome to the online community - it’s great to have you here! I’m sorry to hear that you are struggling so badly with your osteoarthritis and feel as though physio has not benefited you too greatly.
We definitely have some members with similar experiences, I encourage you to have a look using the “search” function with keywords (i.e. osteoarthritis, hip replacement referral), and I will also like some relevant pages.
I hope things soon improve for you, best of luck!Need more help? - call our Helpline on 0800 5200 520 Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm
