Hello I'm new to the group. I suffer with Osteoarthritis in both thumbs and my right hip. I also have GTPS in right hip and lower back - pain (suspected osteoarthritis in back) . I'm lucky to be having hydrotherapy and physiotherapy ( probably more for the GTPS than the O.A ) but it is slowly helping. I've recently had injections in both thumbs and after the initial very painful steroid flare up I can say that the pain has improved greatly, however 4 weeks later and the pain in my right thumb is slowly coming back but thankfully nowhere near as bad at the moment. Anyway I was just wondering if anyone knows how many injections you can have in your thumbs over the years .

Hi @chickpea and welcome to our friendly online community.
I am almost certain that you can only have up to 3 injections into the same body part in one year. It can take up to 12 weeks to see the full effect of the injections though so maybe if you give it a bit more time you will see further improvement.
All the best, Claudia x
