I have just spoken to Julie and she wished me to let you all know that her stump has become infected and she is a rather poorly girl. She has been to a drop-in medical centre, been given anti-biotics and is now going to rest. Her op is in three weeks. :shock:

    I have everything crossed for you that the antibs get it cleared up quickly and in plenty of time before the op.

    Aw, dear julie, I am absolutely devasted for you, goodness knows how you must be feeling. What can I say? This really is most unfair, no time is a good time naturally but this is a terrible time for it to happen. I can think of few other times when it could be such bad timing.

    Looking on the bright side, dear Julie, or trying to, hopefully you have time before the op date to see this beast eradicated.

    Goodness, I do hope that one batch of antibiotics sees it on its way. We were worried about you catching the sniffles before the op but this is an awful thing to beset you.

    Dear, lovely, pink flamingo, Julie, I have my fingers crossed and will again send over vibes for this to heal up quickly.
