    Hello @nottingham_lass

Welcome to the forum, its great to have you here with us. I've edited your post title to give a more visibility to your query, hope that is okay.

Do give this a read, you have rights as a worker that your employers should accommodate : Work and Arthritis . This takes you straight to information about sick leave : Sick leave, treatment and benefits.

Can you open a dialogue with your employers about how to get you back to work? I think that it is well worth keeping in touch with your line manager (document your conversations - date/agenda) to see what they can come up with, if that seems viable to you.

Also, the helpline team are wonderful and it's free. The number is below.

    All the best Joanne

    Hi,

I am also in a similar position as been off sick for over three months now. I have managed to claim PIP and my employer pays SSP.
You may be able to claim ESA which is instead of employer payments. I hope this helps.
