hey Toady, Sucré is pedalling away now on the bike. He can ride as far as he wants and is now hounding me for an electric mx bike. I said he could have one as soon as he learnt to pedal as he had mastered his balance bike and was rolling downhiil feet up at alarming speed considering it has no brakes. 😳

i was booked and paid up to do my track day at Snetterton today, but I felt so rough and miserable this morning I couldn’t face the 1&1/4 hour ride there in the rain, and I had the feeling that some idiot would take me out on track and wreck both me and my bike so I stayed at home. One of my best friends asked me if i had gone about 8 am and I explained how I felt and that I was gonna have the morning at home and then maybe go for a ride if I felt better this afternoon so he came over after lunch and we rode out to the wildes of Suffolk which was nice but left me absolutely shattered.

Think I gonna have to admit that some things just aren’t possible any more. Track days being one of them. I certainly don’t bounce like I did 20 years ago, I just go thud now!

I am going to mention my depression to the doctor when I see him about my anaemia because i think there is an alternative to MTX that doesn’t cause depression.

Hi toady and frogmorton my talk to the manager went down well my manager said he wants me to stay on my own department and do the job I've been doing and I don't have to go to other departments or do heavy lifting. So it pretty much went well. Good night everyone.

Morning Skinny keef when are you seeing your consultant next? I hope it's not too long. Feeling depressed is so tough. We don't know whether it's the pain or the meds, but if you know things have got worse since starting the MTX you must see what they can do.

You will do track days in the future you were right to sign and pay up and also right not to go when you were in pain. Even your ride out in Suffolk proved that.

Poor little BR looking for his beloved Mima who was already out. Bless his little heart. I bet the boys are missing you all very much even Big bear! Your Mum needs the reduction in stress though it was a lot.

Now you know RR he likes to know things that no-one else knows so being able to tell nice T all about your family's business would be right up his street! Poor Nice T I wonder if it is her meds giving her that tremor and of it will settle down must be very annoying.

Tia used to need her potato and cheese on separate plates too but she is quite normal now I know BR will turn out lovely he is a sweet boy. To be fair they do often give you your tomato sauce in a little bowl when you eat out don't they?

Not sure about BIL's 'lard' dessert. I mean cholesterol in a dish or what?!! With or without tom sauce though?😁

Can littleys fly? Yes in their dreams I am sure they can and for some reason they can eat twice their body weight in junk and still stay perfectly slim🙄

Sleek ordered the bag on prime and it came yesterday in pink and white it is lovely she will bring it over later to show you it. She was most dischuffed that we were out all night at the car meet, but Elfie scampered over on his own and had a great night. When we got home he and Paul stayed up watching 'shed and buried' till all hours so he is fast asleep.

Well I am glad your roof is ok atm but wish you had found the issue. Our roofer actually told me that he does dread certain numbers coming up on his phone. Including ours😣

Al fresco and Rasta both do that optional small donation and people do get used to it. Often it's just to round up 1p so I usually do it. Anything in the middle aisle?

Well a lovely start to the day I may be taking my one remaining fish to the aquatics place although I might leave it till Monday when the children will be back is school and it should be quieter. She seems ok atm. I did a water change.

Would you believe after 2 days not working my old fitbit is now working. At least I will have a plan B one too when the 'new' one arrives hopefully today.

Mum & cats say Hi

hello all, we had a family day at Duxford again today, and my fav aircraft of all time the DC3 was there and it started up and took off just before I got on my bike to ride home. I started to get a migraine after arriving but I was there before my lot who got stuck on M11, I don’t do motorways, so went for a brew, and it started to ease a bit then Sucré anounced he was ‘STARVING’ as soon as they got there so we had an early picnic and I feel asleep on the grass for an hour, felt much better after that, then it was back to the play area and we watched the very busy airfield whilst Sucré charged around with about a million other children. Ride there and back was AWESOME, and it’s days like this I live for. Although I have lots of pain now it was worth it.
That Vellocette looks really nice Toni. Worth quite a bit too I would think. Not sure about the trike tho 🤪

I see Penelope was shown in all her glory. 👍

You know as soon as I get off my bike I am counting the hours and minutes and seconds until my next ride somewhere, I absolutely love being a motorcyclist, and I had some very courteous motorists today, one young lady was queuing to turn left and when she saw me behind she actually moved over to the right to allow me to pass on her left so I could go as her way was blocked. Never had that before, clever manoeuvre.

Anyway enuff of me waffling on.

can’t sleep. Inflam everywhere and pain. My ears and nose are about as bad as they have ever been.
i don’t think I am worried or stressed about anything,my consultant impressed upon me how important that is, not to stress.

I do worry about Sucré and keeping him safe but I am even more relaxed about that now. Although he does seem a little accident prone, more so than his friends.

Think I’ll have a midnight cuppa, isn’t tea anti inflammatory?? Anyone else wanna brew???

Sucre is just very active I think, but adorable and as your mum said - a chip off the old block😉

How good a lass who was aware of other road users and made provision for a biker. I know that tri-bike bizarre it pulls a tiny caravan sometimes! The Velocette though is lovely and of course that gorgeous gorgeous pink Figaro!!!

I think the roofers know we don't want to call them, but rooves are so difficult to solves sometimes. Unless it's a completely new roof of course. Ours in on speed dial😂

Go back and get that hat! Hats are great for gardeners. I have a cap I wear or on cooler days one of my beanies.

Best get on it's plant sale in the village today. It's really all go I cannae cope! Help!

Not much on for me today I am plodding on with the family tree research, I had some promising unusual names to work with but it's not turning out to be straightforward 😒.
