Thanks Debs, we're staying in a log cabin in the pine forest overlooking the reservoir.. Monday till Friday then got a B&B booked friday night as there is a light display on at Cragside House, they light up the house, lake and forest, looks impressive from the website, not been before.. Thing is it's a bit of a walk in the dark in the woods, better make sure I'm popped up with painkillers, get my legs strapped up and have my walking stick and torch!! :P Also, may have a tamazapam to manage the pain a bit more, don't want to miss out.. Right, this better bloody post this time, I have copied it just in case

Morning all its a frosty one out there i keep playing with the buttons at the top to finf out what they do but its just seems i copy letters hayho kettles on fires ablaze alls well xx

Popped in for a warm and a cuppa but its just as cold in here as out side brrrr.

i shall light the fire and get it going again, maybe when its warmed up someone may pop in and say hi.
cakes are in the tin, beef stew in the pan on the cooker, crusty bread on the side help your selves.

right the fire is now going strong so shall sit a little while, dont think i will wonder around the boards as its to cold and quiet to move from the fire.

hope everyone is ok and peeps start returning soon

I've come in for a builders and some sticky toffee pud and lovely creamy custard. It's one of those days for comfort food, am waiting to batten down the hatches against the coming deluge.

Not raining here yet.........has anyone got the promised torrential rain? I've been getting the impression that we will all have to travel by canoe tomorrow.

Hope she has a torch, I hear rasberries are the sneakiest and meanest of berries and hide when they smell a human coming.. They have tiny little nostrils you know, oh, and they bite too... :?

I is here, sorry i got kidnapped by me raspberrys.
tonys right there sneaky little critters. they cornered me, snarling & wouldnt let me logg off til i promised never to pick them again. I agreed & they let me go PHEWW was a close shave. I didnt know farming could be so dangerous, 105 farmers died this year in the fields :shock: so the raspberrys told me :shock: so i had a luck escape.

I need a cuppa,warm by the fire & an eclair.

So glad you managed to escape, I was once caught by the raspberries, boy did that hurt :shock: :shock:

I think it was the scarey tales of evil raspberries that scared everyone away...
I think I will have another pint pot of tea, talking of the 'berry' incident has brought it all flooding back..
