    had a great ride out this afternoon. I actually felt good for the first time in ages. Dropped off a parcel at our ‘local’ post office which is now 10 minutes ride away since the high street one closed down, then rode on to the next town via a very twisty road and had a coffee and snickers bar, and a look round the bikes for sale, and got chatting to an ex military guy with ptsd. He says he only talks to 3 types of people, bikers, girls, and bikers that are girls, thought that was mildly amusing.
    the race Beemer is now all dialled in with the complicated suspension set up. I normally have to have a radically different set up from recommended as I am so light, sometimes needing springs changing out for softer but this one is spot on according to the manual recommendations and the damping rates are all dialled down and it is working so well i am so pleased that I can ride it without it causing me more pain.

    I did my two jacket spuds with a choice of fillings for dinner. I am not putting the oven on until this hot weather has calmed down. I absolutely love this weather but it makes the house so hot if i do an oven dinner. We were supposed to have the aircon unit drilled through the wall but i cancelled it coz since the new windows went in the house just doesn’t get hot like it used to and i didn’t want the mess. I don’t like mess, especially diy type mess that breaks the hoover, ooops 😡

    A little poetic effort from me 🙏xx

    Vc poem called “Our Cafe in summertime, An unusual place full of odd deeds and rhyme”
    It was so warm inside the cafe, my tea contained ice
    toady made hot chocolate fashioned of coconut milk and rice
    I said “ toady it’s tasty, but it will offend the gods of the gastric variety
    Coconut milk should not be served in polite society”
    Toni gave me a vegan burger for my meal in the morning
    I said, “Toni, my stomach will explode if I eat that when it’s so early that I’m yawning”
    Skinny Keef put coffee granules in Sleek’s tuna - rich jam
    And the visiting gourmet BR ate every morsel of a vegan type of ham
    Yes the heat is making us behave in a way that’s very odd
    Later on I tried to relax and for lunch and but mischievous LA had stolen my chips with the cod

    A bit of an ookey day weather- wise, I agree.

    Apparently the joys of being British include driving up ramps in multi storey car park lol

    Next thing a British joy maybe rolling up your sleeve for the vampire nurse

    Yes hopefully after tomorrow there will be a weather detente as it were
