Afternoon toady yeah the first coat of paint is done and my daughter has already approved of it we need to go back over it tomorrow. Then Wednesday onto mine and my husband's room hopefully get that all done by Friday. I hope you are well and I hope you have had a great day.

Where did you get your bulbs? Was it one of the £1 shops? They are an excellent price aren't they there? I think I will need to get going soon although a lot of my bedding (being geraniums) is still going relatively strong. How many empty post do i have? I better take a look.

I popped into our nobbly draught yesterday as it is sadly closing down😕 Got some bits for wreath making for Christmas 50% off so good really. I will miss that shop. I know you can buy online but that's how come they close down the shops in some cases🙄

Hi frog, glad it was a good day all round on Sunday - yes Bentley's pah 🤭 lots of memories & pics to show for it. Elfie too with all his souvenirs, doesn't he look swell 😊 proper little gadabout and good for him, the more sunny day outings while he can the merrier. 'Tis indeed turning chilly but no heating for me either. Strong winds again today so gardening is a bit iffy but will see what can be done. Did you mean 'how many empty pots do I have' as in is it enough, or is it too many 😄. I have a few nice little long toms arriving soon, the ones with an extra deep band, but they are coming via a certain courier so whether they get here safely.. 😬. My bulbs were from different places, not a £1 shop as such but were not much more, or on multibuys, so very good - one pack was 3 different sorts in 1 so that worked out even better as I only wanted a few of each. I would have bought one variety of tulip from Piddle too, but it was the only empty box on the shelf; will pick them up another time. Sorry about your nobbly draught 😔 yes the internet is scotching a lot of bricks & mortar places, what can you do? 🤷‍♀️ I buy quite a lot online can't be helped, but choosing those bulbs in person yesterday was preferable all day long to doing it online. International sudoku day, oh lovely 😬 I set myself 5 mins to finish the NYT online easy one daily, but by even the next level up, I'd be there all day. It's just not my sort of brain, annoyingly. Sorry about Brenda's Sadie 😧 hope the vets can do as much as possible to help. It is not wet here today but I will be all day tomorrow it says, so I will have the same charity bag situation, doesn't seem worth putting them out in rain. Hi bosh, sorry your mum had low bs earlier on, sounds like maybe the walk was the culprit it seems a good theory if it ties in with something she doesn't usually do. Hope she's ok now. Glad to hear BR got on ok his first half a day - half a day would have been plenty for always, if you ask me, or maybe flexitime 🤭. Anything but an early start. Not much doing with me, I keep picking up and half-starting annoying little jobs, not sure I'm getting very far. I did buy socks yesterday though, so that's something to tick off the shopping list haha. Today was fish - frying day 🤢🤢🤢

So the house smelled terrible and dad “forgot” to open the window

So it was hot like a stolen apple pie portion fresh from the oven I’m afraid

Also mum and dad got into Vesuvius mode

Mum is worried about my stomach which is a bit unsettled currently

But it’s a relatively minor issue but mum thinks it’s something as serious as an ulcer 🤷‍♀️

BR looked very confident on his way to school with his brother, confident like an adulk!

Im not sure yet how the first (half) day went but no doubt sis will “report back” as it were, haha, when she has a minute to herself.

What ideal new clothes Elfie, just the right seasonal weight 👍️ and well you can't really compare elves & frogs can you, some of us can suit a yellow knitted mackintosh (not me!) and some of us can rock our streetwear 🤭. Still resisting the heating here, and long sleeves for that matter, til the last possible moment. Frostwatch?! 😱 oh 'eck I suppose you're right. Yes rain today BUT my charity bags went before it set in, thank goodness, I nearly didn't put them out but just did it & prayed in the end. I have sorted out some paperwork to go too which is not my forte but a good job. If you did go to Baldi hope that was ok, I have sourced any remaining bulbs I might want to try (with the aid of writing a My Bulbs list ofc 🌷😄), and will try and sort what's going where without too much overthinking. Hope your pots all work out too, new or otherwise - the rope handle on my zinc pot 'went' today, rotted through, so must pick up some chunky replacement, jute rope doesn't seem too expensive off nosegay. Why do they bring charity bags round to you if they aren't going to collect, are they just ones they put through the door same as me? Annoying for you 🙄 not every one can take stuff and sometimes it's heavy if it's books etc. That's good that Brenda's cat doesn't mind the stuff from the vet, and she isn't having the extra worry of getting her to take something. Hope Treacle gets on well when the time comes. Just looking at what you said to Toni about avocados, I've never had one ever, do you eat yours as they are or do something with them?
