    Well it was a rather nice looking cheese and pickle butty.
    Have just done a rerun and hid it in the fridge quick sharpish :lol::lol:
    Hope you aren't too bad today forgot it was Black Monday, isn't that the day we are all supposed to get the bills for the stuff we spent at Christmas. Yikes :!:

    Night Annie - hope you get some sleep. My hubby has a really bad cold tonight ..... one of those where your nose is constantly on the go .... not sure it was wise of me to suggest he use a couple of tampons to plug his nose so he could get some sleep :oops: :lol: :oops: :lol: :oops: :lol: he might not be speaking to me in the morning :wink:


    Chris - cheese & pickle sounds really good. Could fancy one myself right now ..... don't know why have eaten like a horse today ..... maybe to dull the pain eh?

    Out the bath, no accidents with cast falling in water. I use a hoist so it was quite easy to get into.

    Hubby had to bath me, well do the bits I could not do. Which was a few :oops:

    Feel like a baby.

    Hi Chris, thanks, the insurance rang today to update me & i knew more than them :shock: They havent recieved the letter from the other sides insurance i sent them on the 11th so she's going to look for that & chase them up.
    we need to get it moving as the MOT is due next month & we can MOT that til the cars repaired. :roll:

    Ive had a busy day what with phones calls & drs, so i'll sit here with a tea. Are there any cream buns left? Its ok i just found them, now who hid them there?

    Hi Trisher, ive been really good today, ive had 3 since 9am.
    Got the clinic tomorrow so they should be pleased with me, the OHs dont doing quite so well, but he has cut down.

    You are doing really well, don't beat yourself up over any little relapse though just start afresh. Glad you are working on it together and I really do wish you luck.

    Ange hope you shoulders a bit better and that at least you can see some green out there now.

    Trish I've got you a fresh coffee but do get to bed if those meds are making you woozy. Hope you feel better after your bath. I love mine. Not sure what time you have to be there tomorrow?

    Came back for an olvaltine oh and before I clean my teeth I will have a sticky bun with a cherry on the top, thanks for the cherries.

    Wonder how long it will be before Annie is up. Bet she will be. Sit here for a bit in case she does, then I will settle down to sleep I hope.

    Annie if you get up can you not get some lemons tomorrow and have hot lemon juice, I have mine wirh honey but too sugary for you isn't it?

    That helps me. Use your nebbies it wil help a lot, if not try breathing in steam that unclogs you tubes.

    Hello, I'm in bed but not gone zonk yet. Think it is ecause I'm going to the hospital, I always get worked up about going.

    I think I will have just one more cream sticky bun with a cherry on the top.

    What has AB's has your GP put you on Annie?

    They will not kick in for about 24 hours. Try the steaming, it will help.

    Amoxil as you thought, the high strength 7-day version. I'm just rummaging in the cupboard to find my Olbas Oil, going to put a couple of drops in the hot water.

    I'll need another cuppa after that!

    Mornin All,

    Just putting the urn on and leaving some milk, eggs (I still got so many so eat loads wont you :wink: ), cream and hevva. Grabbing a builders and might see you early today........ I don't what I hope there...... Had a big dose yesterday and if there this line is still working will again today, he idea being this one is going to be a short drip so the more I can get before its cancelled the better...... It don't half make you ill though :roll:

    Morning girls.
    Just popping in. Looks like it was busy in here during the night.

    On my way to hospital for colonoscopy. Can't drink or eat anything now. Keep having to rush to the lou. I'm going to ask for them to put me out. anaethesise I hope. Trouble is, they want to get so many through the department in the day, if I'm anaethesised I am taking up a bed for too long. Scared of the pain because my hips are so bad. I shall ask them if I can take extra pain killers. Oh I don''t know. gosh I'm nervous.

    Hope you get on alright too Trisher.

    Good heavens, all the bananas have gone. Debs. is that you or a chimp?????

    Jan, I know what you mean about losing your independence. My car failed it's MOT last April now and I haven't driven since. My OH is working on the car and Winter has got in the way and too cold to work on it. I keep forgetting to cancel the insurance. Also, I haven't been able to drive because my hand has been too painful to change gears. It's a 2CV and a column change. I have also been on so many drowsy making drugs, I wouldn't have been safe to drive. If I had had an accident, I wouldn't have been insured.
    Now that my hands seem to be improving (thnks to my chiro sessions) I think I shall soon be driving again. I have started rudecing my tablets also so that should take the risk away. I shall be so glad when I can get out on my own again and not have OH telling me not to do ths or that
