Evening all
So sorry to see so many of you had such a bad night, hope you have managed to catch up a little today. Hugs to you all, and extra to Ange for tomorrow (((( )))) hope the pain keeps at bay.
Val you mentioned pineapple once before, does it really have anti-inflam properties? I'd give it a try.
Jan, hope you do find some classes which may help and glad the doc doesn't want you on the hard stuff.
Wonky lovely to hear you had a good visit today, am so glad it went better than you might have expected.
Trish, I think I had everyone's share of sleep today sorry, been nodding most of the day. I do love my days off Hope the chest pain a little easier for you.
Hope Cris had a better day and that those calves behave tonight.
Sorry forget all of you who have called in, it is lovely to see it busy in here. How did cuddles get on with her little op? Is she with us again now?
I'll grab and brew and a blue egg and chips while I am here ta.

Ok, all I am back again with my head on the right way round......I can't believe that happened, I had already slept for the best part of an hour........
Val, I agree with you about the pineapple juice and I do drink a lot of it....I like it, anyway.......how are your knees now?
Oh, a fibbing exercise thread! We'd all get nicely cyber-toned, Yay!
Chris, I'm rivalling you in the sleep stakes - I think I've got someone else's share.
Jan, it can't be the steroids, they have the opposite effect on me, maybe I'm just catching up from last week when I couldn't sleep at all.
Berty, got any soft centres left? I could do with a couple of those.

Evening everyone.
Nice to see you Trisha, how's it going? Lovely of you to ask about my probs.
I feel sorry for OH because at last, there will be grandchildren on his side of the family instead ofall mine. I know he is hurting because he has had some sort of flare up in his feet and can hardly walk. He won't admit that it might be arthur. I feel that it is.
Has diabetis and has to be careful with his feet and the podiatrist is going to see him next Tues. I think she will tell him to go and see the GP.
Regards DiL, she has lost on average 2 kilos a day during the last two weeks. She is being so sick the whole time. Just cannot keep anything down. It's because of this ulcer they have found. Goodness knows what they are going to do about it.
Can't operate apparently because of the MRSA. She has to be careful that she doesn't cut herself. OH is taking her to Leics Royal Infirmary again next Wednesday for her bloods and bone marrow clinics.
Well I'm ready for bed, so tired. Want to watch a couple of programmes on tele tonight sowill take meds a bit later.
Have we any doughnuts? I shouldn't should I? Oh of course, you don't put weight on inhere.
Oh well. go on then.

Jan all I got left to do is feed this lot (they don't have dinner till later) and take em round the fields. Raining so hard I wish they could just take them selves..... well they can just have had 3 of em do runners this week  Slipper boy came home, having done a runner today, covered in cow muck but smelling of perfume and I can't work that one out.......

Cuddles will be fine by tomorrow, he's already had some milk.
I've milked Marigold, and left the rest of the cow-pats in the bucket.......keeping them warm next to the fire and Wonky's hugs. They might well be needed tonight if last night is anything to go by.
It's time for another builders and a little something..........strawberry flan with cream.............that'll do nicely!
Apart from that, I have totally lost the plot tonight!
Annie0 -
I'm sure there must be some cunning plot we are supposed to be hatching somewhere for something! I feel quite lost without one .......I've just become a grandmother again...........to six bloody piglets (according to my grandson) he's going to post one to me!
Annie0 -
Hi Everyone
Can I have a coffee and a sticky bun with a cherry if Val has any?
Trish xx0 -
Hi To all
Sorry not caught up with you yet.
Val, yes yes yes, have you got any pineapple juice I can have please?
Jan
Sorry about the pain, I wonder what would an asprin do now and then? It does help with pain. Sometimes we take all this morphin based drugs and when you are not at home to take it, you sometime get a Paracetamol and blow, it works.
Was wondering if to give that a try. I take tummy tablets. Anyone know?
Trish xx0 -

Hi All,
Just going to grab one of Wonky's hugs and leave him under a blankie next to the cow pats so he can bounce her if she comes in and give her a hug from us...... you have been warned though the gentle waft of cow muck and perfume may give him away......

Annie
There are always sticky buns all help yourself to them. Valalways get plenty,
Has she gone to bed without saying goodnight.?
Chris
Yes I'm here. I was on here on my own earlier. That was a first.0 -
Hi folks, sorry, had to pop out. Wanted to watch Simon King and his family on the Shetland isles. Then I had to watch Silent Witness.
Right, I'm back first |I expect someone has had my doughnut. I don't mind really I don't.
I think I will have my camomile and honey again tonight. Might help me sleep. or ummmm shall I have horlick like you Trisha?
I do hope we all get a reasonable night tonight. It is almost like a heatwave outside here. I have just gone out to fetch some tumble drying in and put some rubbish out. It's 7 degrees.
We're suppose to be going to Woodhall Spa on Sunday, but not sure about going. Firstly, expense, petrol and all that and how will I be feeling. Meeting up with some of our car friends for a belated Christmas Dinner which was cancelled from earlier in the year.
Now, tractor comp. How about a sheep sheering contest and we can bet on who will do the mostest. difficult. I can auction one of my pictures. Oh well, it is late in the evening. Don't think too well at this time of the night.
I'll go and get my drink and let you think about it.
Joy0 -
I don't think Val was feeling too good earlier, she seems to be having a bad time too.
Trish do you take lansazprole? That's what I have.
I'm nearly ready for my builders..............soon be cooked now.
Annie0 -
Joy
Are you going to try and shear one. You will get in a muddle. Ask Cris I think she has sheared one before. I don't think it is easy.
Trish0 -
One or two Trish and nope they not easy to do either....... 2x a year as well so if anyone would like to shear a sheep....... I have some to do in a couple of months but tour welcome to dag them now if you like...... xx
Nite Jan I hope you don't wake up till the morning xx0 -
Jan hope you have a better night. You will be getting exhausted if not. take care we really need a lot more posts from you tomorrow.
Annie glad you had no leaks tonight. The snow disappeared over night here thank goodness, but I still couldn't be bothered to go out all day will have to do some shopping tomorrow.
Joy you always sound so busy lass, you take care of yourself please. Auctioning a painting is a lovely idea and will raise a bit for the tractor.
Trish always fancied a bit of sheep shearing! But hope we don't end up with 'em purple, Cris would give us a lesson I hope. Hope the dogs didn't bolt tonight and are safe at home now Cris.
I'd just had a fried egg butty here. I tend to forget to eat sometimes and then wonder why I am starving
Anyone for another brew?
Chris0 -
HI Chris - I'll join you in a quick brew before I turn in ...
Hi everyone,
sorry to see that lots of you had a bad night last night .... here's some sleepy hugs to send you off to the land of nod (it's a real place you know - honest )
oh .......... argh ...................... what on earth ......... ahhhhhhhhhhhh ................ sniff .... sniff ........ thanks guys - what a lovely cuddly (but smelly) surprise didn't know he could do lovely hugs like that
Ange - thinking of you and hoping that you can sleep tonight. Littlelegs has offered to come and keep you company .... but I warn you that usually involves taking 80% of the bed for herself and leaving everyone else the four corners
sleep well all
hugs
wonky0
