Hi Barbara

The hospital I go to has four or five disabled bays in the hospital grounds. They have built a car park. You have to pay to use that. Anyone one can park there.

When I have had to go there for 2 or three appointments for test ect it cost us over fifty pounds.

We also have to set out 2 hours early as we have to queue to get in. They do a 3 out 3 in That is all day.

The queues go right up the road and becasue it became so long, they now have a board and if you are going to join the queue, if you are out of this board you have to drive away and go all the way around the block.

Between doing this if another car comes along, then you become furthur outside the queue, if 3 have been let in.

We have spent a fortune there this year alone, which I think is very unfair.

I cannot get in a Mini cab for insurance purposes also using oxygen.

Trish, I thought ours was bad enough - they charge a fiver for an hour, so I go by bus - but that is just unbelieveable! I hope you have complained, cos that is just a rip-off!

I have not got it yet Hubby put prescription It sounds like this Eurfromycine that is not the right way but that is how it sounds.

Iwish I could go out for a while. DEo you think we will get a spring this year. On the news last night it said more snow next week and it will get cold again

Lets hope we won't get it.

i believe if you have a blue badge adn you are going for an appointment for your self, thenyou can claim back the parking money, at most hospitals.

otherwise you hae to pay. the problem is most of us have had enough by the time we're done at the appointment, so can't be bothered to go the other end of the hospital, so don't bother to ask. they expect this, so get away with it.

why don't the managemetnhave to pay for thier parking? they get paid enough !! and they're all healthy enough to walk form whereever!!!

i think we should do a no 10 petition for this!!

Welcome to the best place in the world Val's Cafe. All those cakes mmmmmm yummmy.

The trouble is the car park was a school, which was knocked down and it is across the road from the hossy.

So I think it is a private car park. I did ask the man when he was waving us past and did ask, but he just grinned.

I asked the hospital, the Hand Therapist and she said they have to pay to use it as well. They don't pay so much at all.

Well if thay are there all day, you are just waiting for patients to come out.

Barbara the first hour is five pounds then it rises much more.

Right I will have another coffee if you are still here, I can try and catch up a bit.

Oh, Cris.......shall I come down in my chair and help with the hay very good chair plus plenty of gadgets

OH mum got a parking ticket with a blue badge the other day.She is having to appeal.My dad once got ticketed as he walked to the meter to get a ticket.They wouldnt let him off!He was a man of honour and that made him so very angry and he fought it all he could.
Really popped in for a Cornish pastie.Skeziers always mentioning them.
