Cris, I hope you have recovered from the dogs pulling you in two different ways............I can't cope without sleep, but I've been there all afternoon!

Think I'll go back and get some more, too, but I'll have a builders first and a large bag of fortitude.

It is freezing here, was brighter this morning but cold and dark now. Just seen the weather forecast and I wish I hadn't!

I made dozens of cheese straws to bring in........thought I'd help out; sausage rolls (I'll put them in a low oven) and some savoury rolls (cheese, onion and sweet potato).

    afternoon all!

well have escaped upstairs cos a second rugby match just started and I can't stand any more :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Littlelegs is feeling sorry for herself .... seemed fine until she up-chucked her breakfast at lunchtime  and has been sleeping since. Not sure if we need to take her to vets ... she has been so much better this last week and we were convinced the new food had helped .... only we weighed her today and she is well below what she was two weeks ago     and not sure if it is the food or maybe something else wrong? :? :? :?

Hubby is going to tackle the ironing mountain later ..... he thinks he can watch the second half whilst ironing shirts  but I not so sure .... especially since he calls the steam generator 'that infernal machine' and avoids it like the plague! I think if they are his shirts it is about time he ironed them :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Cris - hope you have recovered from the medieval torture? dogs eh?

Chris - hope your cold has improved

Trisher & Annie - hope you are both peaking and flowing correctly today  and that the bones have returned from their parties and are not so hungover.

Hugs to those of you I have missed naming, but I am afraid I can't remember and I always forget to make notes till I can't see you any more

ta for a cheese straw ..... just the job :D:D and a cuppa, and I'm leaving spare hugs in usual place.

    see you all later

Right here is one for you all to try...... I got the bags out the car, brought some bagging up stuff in and felt weird so sat quickly, decided a tea break would help and then remembered I till had a bit of cream left so made a jam and cream sarnie, some for all of you as well BUT my eyes are a bit iffy and what I have used by mistake is marmalade..... Not quite sure where the diet went through  I think it escaped during the medieval torture bit.....:lol: They ever do that to me again and I shall get a long rope and tie them together :lol:

Gt to go run the gauntlet in a min with 2 bales.... Can you give me a hand please  ((( ))) xx

    Hi Wonky,

Has she got gut lining trouble or just sensitive? Just having some ideas about food you could try..... I know you had a good look before changing her but there are a lot of sensitive and well a lot of dogs do well digestion wise on the one beginning with Ch....e...... There are so many different brands and most have a sensitive version..... Bless her she doesn't deserve it but it is common with rescued dogs for some reason. Slurps and stokes to her xx

    Hello everyone.
Have been out all day so not really caught up with what's going on around here. Don't expect anyone has missed me though.

I shall pop back in tomorrow, but as of now I am for bed because I am feeling a bit sicky

Joy, sorry your're not too good; I've been asleep most of the day again, too.

Time for a builders and some buttered toast with cinnamon and naughty sugar......well, just a sprinkle.......comfort food!

I'm told it's warmed up a tad, but it still seems freezing cold to me!

I'll sit over here by the fire with Cuddles and Rotti and simmer for a bit.

Hi wonky i don't know if this will help but my parents puppy walk for guide dogs and they have had some sick puppys, my mum boils up some plain rice for them to eat just a little bit at a time and sometimes with a bit of tuna. They have sometimes been given prescription dog food as well, hope everything goes ok.

    Hi All,

Not long been back and I pulled a fast one on them calves..... Gave them some straw to eat and snuck the bales across while they wee busy :D They then saw hay and they know its better than manky old straw so the did play tug of war with the second one... I never knew bale carrying could produce such a lot of yelling........ Still they got some and actually are starting to look bit better.

No sign of Trish? Trish I do hope your ok and have re-done your flask but hope your sleeping and ok. leaving you a (((( )))) and a hope. Cris xx

Hi Julie hope your much better in the morning x

Hi Berty hope you found the sleep fairy x

Hi Annie you ok? Budge over from the fire and lend me Cuddles and the Rotti I sort of call him 'Illusive' at the mo but we should name him eh? I still will probably call him Illusive mind  More builders for you? x

    Hi Chris,

Not playing wishbones tonight.... I think it has done something..... Got half the car loaded and the other half, well shall se what the weather is doing in the morning...... You sleep well and have a good day tomorrow. xx

Right have left a special live and bouncing hug under the blankie for Wonky and shall weld to the fire, if Annie don't mind, clutching a builders in one hand and a bucket of energy and fortitude in the other

Hi, Has Jan not been about then? I hope she's ok.
Its been so cold here. I opened the back door earlier to clean the glass & havent ventured out since. Dont think its liftd above freezing here all day.

Sorry them calves are still giving you hassle Cris. Snowy says you can borrow him as he's about the same size & can scare them off for you. He's a bit worried about the sheep though, as he's the same colour & is worried you wont return him to his mummy if you cant find him among them sheeps.
Thanks for the photos they were lovely.

Right budge up im froze. Can we get a bigger sofa in here Val  & some of them fireside chairs would be nice too.
