Trish wasn't well last night, so I guess she's not had a good day today.

I'm going to take up a builders in a bucket and my book and maybe a pot of fortitude. I'll hang on to a bucketful of energy for the morning - I'll return all the empties then..........

Thought I was on the Mary Celeste for a while there. Make a space for me too, if we all hutch up we will keep warmer.

Cris don't be up too late eh! Hope the day ended better than it started. Glad the calves looking well and you got back in one piece at least. No eyes in the hedges tonight I hope?

No haven't seen Jan for a while and think she mentioned the headaches last time she was on so hope she is ok. I know Trish's doc, banned her from the site one day so hope she is just resting up too and can join us tomorrow.

Think Annie is around somewhere, do hope you have a better night Annie.

I wonder what they would make of him though he isn't going to be as big as them nut not far off..... would the recognise him as a dog? They did my SIL's Woolfie and he got scared

This is the first time I have had to be up and about..........a large builders and then I will milk Marigold and tidy up and hoover.

All the brekkie stuff is ready and I bought in some extra thick cut bacon.

It's been snowing here, that fine powdery snow and it's cold enough to upset several brass monkeys.

Good morning e'one
Have actually slept the clock round apart from a couple of sleep walks to the loo that is. I'm surprised my bones would let me lay in bed that long. I'm sure they will makeup forit today.
I had to get to Rushden by 9 a.m. y'day because OH had to go on to somewhere near Chipping Norton for 10 00 a.m. So I was at 'The Shed' as it is called painting all day. A lot of concentration too trying to get my leopard to stay looking like a leopard. Never realised how hard it was to try and paint in spots. Ended up with a real headache and it's hard on the neck too. Still I love doing it and I took plenty of rests. Didn't really get to see how bad the weather was. Painting in the Shed is like being in a grotto with flowers, crystals, jewels beautiful colours and lovely smells and music. And a beautiful buffet of food aswell. Beautiful asmosphere.
Now how is everyone, bored with Rugby I see. Well, it's Winter Sports now. Can be exciting sometimes.
I'll start with a mug of coffee first I think. Not too hungry at present
Shall have to catch up on some housework today I think.

Iris I love black pudding of any sort! I think I'll extend breakfast slightly and have it with eggs and tomatoes and fried bread!

I did have a slightly better night than is usual for me at the moment, but having woken I couldn't get back to sleep again.

Joy, it does sound as if you had a lovely day yesterday. It was sooooo cold here that our shopping trip was cut short but we did get all the essentials.

Joy, loved your description of the shed....lovely to have a special place to retreat to. I have no artistic skills even though my mum was a very competent artist.

I have been greated by my OH with a Valentines gift. 4 packets of canvas paper to go through my printer. Wow, and who thought true love was dead. Have been trying to find this 'paper' for ages.
Now I can print some of my pictures on canvas. Hopefully sell them for peanuts now. Sometimes, all people want is a small picture to put on their walls for say £15 to £20.

And guess what, I am a winner :shock: :shock: :shock: Euro Winner :shock: :shock:
Now where do we all want to go for a holiday :?: :?: :?: :?:

didn't even get all of my stake money back. oh well. I wouldn't even know where to start with £50m Wouldn't even catch up with the interest. You could buy a stake in a football club I suppose. Buy yourself a footballer maybe.

hi all thick cut bacon eggs and tomatoes with fried bread heaven think will come help in the kitchen also thick toast with butter on i think ginger jam to go with it. and loads of tea . we have three sofas will rearange them so you can all get close to the fire. have put extra logs on as bit damp this morning

I'll put the sofas in place while you get the bacon ready. Gosh smells nice already. And I'll put the coffee on. Get the thick slices of bread ready and lots of Marigolds Butter. Don't mind it orange do you?

Morning all

just popped on here for a quick cuppa before walking littlelegs. She has had a small amount of porridge (she has that regularly cooked in water) and she seems brighter for that. She ate a lot of grass at 11.30pm last night (what else would I be doing but walking her at that time :roll: ) so I guess she knows what is best for her.

Julie - thanks for the tip about the rice .... you are right it is what they suggest but it has to be brown rice and cooked for a lot longer than we do for ourselves ..... and well she has the porridge anyway at the moment so gave her that to see what happens

glad to see you all in here this morning .... and breakfast smellls lovely, so I'll help myself whilst no=one is looking

My OH has just made me laugh. I was telling him about tomorrow and what time my scan was and he replies. You didn't tell me that, when did that appt come thro? So I replied "And don't forget that £1k you owe me". He replied. "I remember that I don't owe you anything". Well, it was worth a try.
