Hi everyone

My usual bucket of tea please,

and a slice of date and walnut today I think. Hope that goat isn't still here, I'm a bit nervous of goats but sure Annie can keep her under control.
Sorry you didn't get too much company in here today, think we are all missing Val, hope she is having a good holiday. I know some of you are struggling a bit at the moment with big worries and fluey bugs so hope you are resting up and keeping warm. Wishing you energy, better health and as little pain as possible. In the meantime I suppose I should have a little baked alaska, seems a shame to let it go to waste!!!!

The goat is absolutely no problem, Chris, but she's just finished off your bucket of tea. I'll get you another one - and have one myself. Now, what would we like? Mmmm, I think a pasty would go down well, and a cream cake for me, please.
I'll clean and scrub tonight, keep it nice and tidy for Val. Have we got the protective clothing ready? Think I might need it for the gents.
There, see? she's playing like a good girl with the sheep and they are both letting the dogs round them up in the direction of the pasties.

Hope you feeling a bit better today, thanks for the tea always welcome as far as I am concerned. Yes the critters seem to be playing nicely.. for the moment. Just watch your coat pockets though! I've been well advised too.

Yes, I'm much better today, thanks. You need to watch pockets everywhere - when we were staying with my husband's relations in Northumberland, we took our daughters to Lindisfarne. Parked the car, eldest daughter got out, very pleased with herself as she was wearing her favourite jacket, and was promptly approached by a donkey who bit her and bit the pocket out of her jacket at the same time! I still laugh now remembering the look on her face. Same daughter got bitten by an emu - but that's another story. She was a nightmare child!

Hi all,right ive popped in to stock up the supplies & give Trisher a break(hope your ok by the way)
ive done a fresh batch of scones,plain,fruit & cheese.

2 chocolate fudge cakes.
2 fresh jam & cream sponges.
some vanilla slices(fresh cream & jam)
fruit cake.
24 butterfly cakes.
sticky ginger cake.
& i thought we'd see how flapjacks go down.
enjoy & i'll have a mug of tea & put me feet up for a minute.

sorry didn't get in earlier ....... looks like it's been a quiet day today. Hope that doesn't mean the critters have had too much time on their hands ..... better check the fridge whilst I am here.

:shock: :shock: :shock: there are bite marks in the cheese ..... and the butter :shock: :shock: :shock: ....... I am going to take a good hard look at the critters and seee who is the cupprit ....... thought they looked a bit 'sheepish' (sorry Cris )

Hope the tea and bacon butty went down well. I love the tea in here it comes in lovely huge mugs, just what we need sometimes

especially when it is soooo cold out there.
Think I will hide one of those vanilla slices for later incase it gets busy in here and they disappear quick. No work for me today so it is already a good day.

It's been another busy week at work and I'm at a conference in Brum all day tomorrow, so just popped in to see you all.

Oh go on then, will have a mug of tea and a cake. And I agree, I love the big mugs we get in here - I simply don't see the point in having a little cup of tea!

She has come to eat the paper Deb Mind she is looking out for Ange's bag cus she does like chocolate...... Wonky I did wander why she had butter all over her mouth last night.....

Have left pasties, cream, saffron and more Heaver cakes...... If you don't like them me and the sheepsis will eat them all.....

Could I have more tea for Deb and Chris my bucket of energy and a builders for me please.

He is here to help clean plate and check out Wonkey's fridge locks....... (they wont stop him mind :roll: ) and she has brought her friend who will be helping the house elf to serve you all.......

Just poppped back to claim my vanilla slice, do hope there is one left? Nice to see so many people managing to get in today. I do like the see the sheep and dogs in here helping out Cris, and Toni has done a good job of cleaning up again. I have had a nice lazy day today recharging the batteries and doing as little as possible and I don't even feel guilty. (tho' that may strike later!) Hope you are all coping and being nice to yourself, if only in small ways. I can recommend it So another cup of tea for me I think. Take care all.

p.s. Not sure this cafe is good for me, working in a sweet factory and packing all manner of sweets, biscuits, jams and cakes I sort of went off the sight of sweet stuff. However I now call for milk on the way home and find I have also bought egg custards or coconut macaroons dipped in chocolate :roll: :roll: Wot is happening to me?? You lot are such a bad influence. I'll blame the cold weather and the fact that I really do need some extra calories
