    Hi Julie,

Flower its just not fair is it? Can they give you something to counter act it? I had bad mouth ulcers when my crohn's last flared and also when I started the sulfa and went in and saw a pharmacist and she gave me some stuff that really helped so that might be worth trying? It was a liquid you put on them but there might be some mouth wash that will help as much? ((( ))) Cris xx

    Hi Val,

Well.... according to the Choices site..... I have a chance but last time I tried they all said I was out of their area, but its changed a bit since then so ..... well ..... hell I am going to try!!!!!:lol::lol: Oh shelf cleaning... not good for you and go careful and hopefully it will soon all ware off. Morning Cris, Julie, Val,

All this talk of doctor`s is making me feel a bit guilty. I do have an excellent GP, but I`m afraid I hardly ever go. Just keep on taking the tablets!! I`m not supposed to take anti-inflams anymore, because they react against my BP medication apparently. On really bad days I do cheat, and take them though.

Now, can I have some scrambled eggs - Cris`s - on toast and a builders, then over to the fire with Cuddles, and a book. Oh, by the way Val I`ve brought some Harlan Coben books n, I think you`ll like them.......Ange.

I got to be able to do the employers so..... Have yo still got any spare handbags? I just got one of Frankie's boots off him as he was on his way back into the field......... That's a line he isn't crossing :lol::lol: I having to use talking books just now but hopefully the eyes will calm down sometime eh? Toni will be pleased and so would Deb, I hope she is ok you know.......(((( )))) xx

The diclo`s really do help don`t they Cris. Or is it just the "forbidden fruit" syndrome? Because we`re not supposed to take em. Still, as long as they work, who cares. Have you got a Walk-In Centre near to you? They may be able to point you in the right direction. Hope you get some help soon. I worry about you.

Right, three old handbags, several pairs of shoes with heels, and Mars bars, and chocolate digestives. And a big hug for you. Off to do some work now. See you later.........Much love......Ange.

    Hi Ange,

Hy don't you go worrying cus I am fine really just a bit tired  Nope for some reason diclo's and me get on really well, especially the oa in the lumber..... I stopped taking them 10 day or so ago cus I had the pain and did think it might be another ulcer but its not, I am 100% sure now its not so I figured I would take them again.

There is a walk in, few miles from here but don't they ask you if you have a doctor? See I do have just I don't ever get to see them...... Not sure how it works Ange. I probably should go some work as well eh? xx

I just grabbing another builders to go

I'm in the same boat. My lovely dr has arthur and PMR, so now he only works 2 days a week. They do have a couple of temp drs but I don't rate either of them. Horrible to say, but one I can't understand what he says and the other one, a woman dr is a bit slap dash and hurried. Thr practice is not as good as it was once.

    Hi there Cris.
Sorry you are struggling a bit. The tiredness is the worst. My OH has been exceptionally tired the last week or so. He has been having his annual cardiovascular clinic check up this last few days.

He had a heart attack about 8 years ago and, normally, this should have killed him. Anyone in their 40's would have died, but because he was in his 60's he would have had a triple bypass. The angigram he had back home showed that he had had at least 3 previous heart attacks, but his heart had created it's own bypass. A smaller blood vessel had opened up and had started pumping the blood as it should do to keep the heart going. He then started on some medication which basically keeps him alive.
He went down to the surgery to see the the nurse, she then did an ECG and had it checked with another nurse. They then said that there was an irregular heart beat and he would have to come back this afternoon to see GP. I knew that this could always happen whereas OH always says he's fine. I put the tiredness down to the horrible weather, because we have all been feeling low.

His cholestral is down to 3.4 so that's good. Nurse says that really he should be doing some more exercises.

Earlier in the week step son rings up. Jacquie's, ( the one with non hodgekins) mother has been told that she has cancer of the stomach, brain and liver. She has been unable to do any hosp journeys for Jacqui this winter, which is why OH has been doing it.
I knew things were not good with her ages ago especially with 3 sisters all ine the same boat. Looks like the big C is in their genes. Think they should all donate their bodies for medical research. If they all have the same gene that riggers their cancer, something could be leant from it surely.

Thank goodness they didn't have any children. Jacquie's dad died of cancer too
Well, after all that I need a huge builders and a doughnut.

It's lovely - usall sitting here diving into the cream buns and builda's.

I need to. Spent the morning making about a dozen fish pies. The place smells beautiful now. The other day it smelt of fruit cake. I think I have been quite industrious this week.

Sitting here, looking out on a very green lawn. One thing for sure, all this snow and ice will have done the gardens a lot of good. Just want it to dry enough to dig it over and have a good tidy up.

Right, back to Amalfi. My head's spinning
