    All I can say Julie is try not to worry. If it was thought to be urgent, it would be done quickly. I was told there was a 12 week wait for scans, but in my case, it came through very quickly. Does he take part in a lot of sports? If so, they have probably told him to cut this down a bit.
    I can remember back to the instances that my OH had his heart attacks, during one of them our DR came to the house to do an ecg which was OK,
    The only way to show if anything is happening with your brother is for him to have a blood test. and then, 3/4 hours later have another one. That was how they discovered that my OH had a blood clot to the heart. I'm just hoping it's not going to happen again.

    Hi Joy he was rush into hospital last week with chest pains he has had blood tests and he does run and go to a gym and they have told him to stop until hes had the scan, heart problems run in our family. You just have to stay positive but its not allways easy is it, hope evrything goes ok with your oh

    Afternoon all! Joan, Berty, Julie, Toni, Barbara, Joy..........and anyone else who's crept in under the radar...........

    I can smell the black pudding and mushrooms from here.......add an egg and some fried potatoes and a couple of tomatoes and I'll be there immediately if not sooner!!

    With a large builders, that lot would go down a treat..............didn't have such a good night, last night, but a good day today, wheeee!

    Less than a month now till I 'retire'........yeehar!!!!

    Annie bet you can't wait, i'm being retired on the 4th March and i am only 41 :roll:
    apologies now if my posts start to make no sense,i've had my pain meds and they make me drousy. My shoulder and hip are flared up must be all that walking in Capri :?

    Just want to let you all know I might not be posting tonight got no internet or phone line so I'm using my mobile but the screen is small and hurts my eyes. They've sait it could take between 4 and 24 hours to repair, see you soon

    Oh Julie, you must be truly worried and at the moment I know how you feel because my OH is having to go through the same. They have found something wrong with his heartbeat and he has to ring hospital tomorrow to make appt asap. Not quite as an emergency as your brother. It is far more difficult for a younger person. Let's hope it all goes well. I would keep my fingers crossed but it is too painful to do so.

    Doctor has been, Had another needle in my Glutis (rump) in other language.
    That was an AB one to help me out.

    Had unexpected visitors. So I'm late.

    well there is no chance of me catching up on 3 days worth ..... so I do hope all are as well as possible ..... and if not are helping themselves to the stock of Wonky hugs which I have just replenished :wink:

    just popped in for a cuppa and a piece of choccy cake before I type up a test for someone for tomorrow. Helping him with his preparation for the navy entrance test ..... but not my forte so making me think too :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

    Funny I saw a mac in there a while back.

    No one has been in there since so it should still be there shouldn't it Annie.
