    that sounds so familiar .... they are doing the same for me with my wrists, but I haven't had the test you mention. I am finding the night splint is really helpful if clumsy, and the working splint is helping too. I get the ones for the left hand done on Thursday :D

    pacing is not easy is it? I thought I was doing it .... but it seems I need to do less than I am doing :shock: which is a bit of a frustration really. :(

    I wasnt recommended the night splints as she said it loses some of the movement on the wrists/hands & if i rest my thumbs too much with the working splints on my thumb will fuse & not work :shock:so i have to do the exercises aswell. I do some but not the right sort :roll:

    If i slow down any more i'll stop :lol: Im a snail most days.
    I can understand the logic behind it but i do rest after ive done something, any excuse for a sit down & a cuppa :wink::lol:

    Hi Debs, Wonky hugs to you both ((( ))) Glad you can support each other with all the OT stuff. Do hope you both get the pacing right tomorrow and rest when you need to. Hang in there, I hope you both saw a bit of sun to cheer you up today.

    Hi Joan and Wulf thought I think I have missed you both tonight. Hope all goes well at the docs tomorrow Wulf and for you too Annie, you need to get that bruising sorted.

    Cris I poked the fire, not sure if you are still in there but hope you get a few peaceful hours tonight and feel a tad better tomorrow.

    Trish hope you having a peaceful night after a stressful day. Will leave some cakes with cherries on ready for when you feel able to call in tomorrow.

    No Julie this evening? Hope you coping Julie, though think it was trouble with your internet so hope that is all.

    Just grabbing a last brew before hitting the switch. Hope work ok for Val and Jan tomorrow. Cuddles is purring and Marigold and Yak are bedded down so all is well here.

    Actually got real connection problems tonight..... its just all over the place and not at all stable.... normally means fogs coming in or the mobile people have updated and got something slightly wrong :wink:

    We use it all night sometimes, as long as you don't wake up the sleepers in armchairs.... or in the fire..... and Marigold, Jed yak, the rottie, the pig and Cuddles are always glad of some company...... :wink:

    Just crept in for another builders........will try not to disturb Cris in the embers and Joan who seems to have nodded off in the big armchair.

    Have nicked a large slice of lemon drizzle cake to go with the builders.....................

    Hi All,

    Tis quiet and I have just come out the fire so will hover the soot and ash up :wink: When I was a kid we had an inglenook and I used to sit in there for ages so guess I have always been a fire dweller :lol::lol: Well that or lived in cold houses :lol::lol:

    Could I have a builders and 3 buckets of energy please? I think I might have one of the pasties I brought in and put in the warmer as well as some cream i the fridge

    Can't read back too far...........just come in and it seems to have been busy today....sorry one and all.

    Got a slight problem with a black eye and some blood results.....hoping it is just a glitch and that I will be back up to 'normal' soon....................more bloods to be done tomorrow and the results compared - hopefully will know more by the end of the week or early next week.

    Haven't heard anything from Trish so far today, so hoping she will be in posting later.

    I'm ready for a builders in a bucket...........'scuse me while I dive in!

    Glug, glug....docs aren't committing themselves until they've got more blood results for comparison....it 'might' be the metho, it 'might' just be that I am very run down, it 'might' just be a glitch in the results........etc.etc....I will post properly once I've got something concrete.

    I needed that builders.........is there enough for a refill?

    ange - sorry you are cold again .... here yestereay was cold but today was warmer ... hope you warm up by the fire soon.

    Annie- sorry about the eye & the bloods etc ... I know what you mean about wishing they could store it :wink: I think that every time they increase the MTX and it's back to fortnightly bloods (used to be weekly and that really was too much!)

    Cris - ta for the wriggly hug .... :D:D just what I needed :wink:

    Hope everyone has sampled the cake ... heavenly and it is soooooooo much better with the cream :D
