Its been quiet in here today.
I'll just sit & warm up by the fire & see if Cris pops out

Hi Wonky. & anyone else around sorry im so tired i cant concentrate to remember who's in :roll:
I didnt sleep at all last night, didnt even nod off :shock: so we swapped bed bases back over( we changed them over for more storage ) ive had a hot bath, put fresh bedding on & hopefully got a comfyier bed to sleep in.
Back to the OT tomorrow for me new splints, then ones i got on Friday have ripped my skin to pieces already :shock: & they felt so much better to start with. :roll: These new ones are a softer material so should be so much better for my hands.
I might ask her to look at my knees too as there so swollen :roll:
Right i'll shut up now & sit by the fire.

Hi all

Sorry have had little or no connection most of this evening. I am on the same mobile broadband as you Cris .

Forgive me I haven't read back at all today, but just popping in to say I have just had a message from Trish I want to pass on for all those who haven't heard or are worried. She would pm you all if she was able. xx
She was totally exhausted after all the tests yesterday but is glad to be at home and has been recovering today. Am sure she will post tomorrow if she feels up to it. She knows we all send hugs and good wishes.

I'll grab a brew while I am here. We had snow over night but by 10 this morning glorious sunshine again!! I'm very confused.
Apologies for not catching up on the news, hugs, energy and some of Annies fortitude to all those who need them.

Hey my mobile thing is with 3 and in in fairness they are he only ones to give cover here at all..... its rural, hills and its got to travel 4 miles which ever way its getting its signal..... just slow..... doesn't get on with big sites but its not too bad as long it has one bar up........ I will tidy up while I am here..........I have already put out the brekkie eggs and bacon and left the urn on. Just do the tables and hoover round a bit and have decided not to go in the Gents. Don't think I can take any shocks.

Have left a bowl of new pot-pourri in the Ladies, it smells like spiced apples.

There! all done and off to see if sleep will return for a couple of hours.

Have just returned from doctor's surgery where the vampires took yet another armful ..........but I decided to walk there a slightly different way. On the big roadside bank just as you get there I saw something which really made my day. The bank was covered with violets, crocuses, daffodils and even a couple of scared-looking primroses........it looked beautiful!

It's not such a good day as the last couple have been, but it's dry and bright and windy - and that wind is very cold!

I'm now ready for my builders in a bucket.........I'll just dive in....lovely!

I got to go get a bale of hay and though the sun is trying to come out its so cold in a biting horrible northerly thing! Actually it might be a north east but its cold....... wind chill...... the bane of my life here

morning just got back from town it is a bit cold out but dry which is helping joints no end . will have cup of t then get oh a sandwich for when he gets in (had breakfast out) got a bird that sings only £1.49 from cheep shop in town for garden but will stay in for now lol
