Joan it is nice to hear there are still some gentlmen left. Last month when it was very icy my 18 year old son was at a shopping centre when a old women slipped and fell outside he helped her up and got her to a seat, he then went into the supermarket and got some plastic bags for her shopping, he then carried her shopping home for her. He said she wanted to pay him for helping her but he refused, He says he did it because it could have been his grandma or great grandma and he would like to think that someone like him would do the same thing. Made me very proud

Hi Sangita he would help anyone who needed it i'm 41 and he does a lot for me. Once at a local shopping mall he came accross a women in her 40s in the car park she asked to use his mobile because she didn't know where she was and couldn't remember how she got there, he didn't want to let her use his phone incase she ran off with it so he took her to the information desk who weren't much help. My son asked her to look in her bag they found a number and her husband came to get her, it turned out she had had brain surgery a few weeks ago and wasn't supposed to be out.

    Hi girls.
Sounds like a party going on. Just what I need at the moment.

It's lovely in here when I get the time to pop in. Only place where I can stuff myself stupid and not put on a pound.

Pleasant surprise at the weekend mind you. Got on the scales again and had lost another 2 1/2 lbs.Wow. Don't know how. Had fish and chips friday, and had puddings over the cold weather. and been baking too.
With the news that I have had today, I know it is very important that I lose the weight quickly now.
That cuppa was nice. now back to the chores.

Evening everyone! I tried reading back, but I have lost the plot again.......

I'm ready for a refill.........I have had some good news today, all my bloods are getting better........apparently I had a high level of inflammation when the bruising started just over a week ago, but it is all levelling out now. Doctor has no idea what caused it all, but seems to have been just a blip.

I think I will have a slice of cake to celebrate...........or have we got any strawberry flan? With cream.

Trish, if you need to build yourself up, you could always have two sticky buns!
