    Birthday, christmas all sorts did them with my mum she still makes them i miss it. what did you make :?: we got a lot of stuff from a shopping channel

    Well I taught myself how to make satin cards and used to do all sorts Birthday weddings Christmas Easter.

    I made childrens ones as well. I got such a lot of orders. I used to make my own verses as well,

    I miss it so much. When my hands went on me as well I could not do it any more.

    I loved it though and some went around the world as wedding cards. I used to personellise them.

    I loved embossing and decoupage not sure how you spell that, shame we can't put pics on here would have loved to see them

    Was it QVC ones? They have some lovely ones.

    When I did mine say it was for a wedding I would make it look like a wedding cake.

    On one I made the arch of the Church doors and the steps then you pull the handle and it opend there was the bride.

    Others I did were 3 tiers they did look nice though.

    I used to get busy at Christmas time.

    did get a lot from qvc christmas time was busy time for me too. Oooo i've done 500 posts now :D

    Do you still make any cards can you manage any of them? Trouble is is all the fiddley bits.

    I cannot bend my fingers now. For Christmas I made over 300 cards.

    Trish i haven't made any cards for a while my hands flare that much and are stiff i think they are starting to deform a little bit as well. I do miss it though, you never know might get a treatment that suits me one day
