    Hello Peeps

    Well, I'm back from my exciting weekend away in Morecambe.
    Not very exciting place I must admit. We would have taken a day into the lakes, but Jim was not feeling too good - makes a change.
    As for me, all my friends from the car club - most of the 160 there, said I looked so much better. Put it all down the chiropractic sessions. They have made me so much stronger.
    I even had a few dances Sat night. On platform shoes too, wow.
    The theme was black and white dressing up. Why couldn't I think of 101 dalmations. anyway it was fun. Next year we shall be in Rhyll.
    OH and I have spent most of today trying to recover. I with a sprained right wrist, trying to carry too much from our room to the car because the lift was too busy. Poor OH. he is feeling rather poorly today. Hope he hasn't got an infection after his op.

    I shall try and catch up with what's been happenung tomorrow.

    I have no problems with cheese and fruit cake together ..... yum!

    Not too bad thanks, you? Glad to find the light is still on in the cafe, I bet there are no donuts in the tin are there?
    Been a wet wet wet day here and still raining. OH has been sorting cupboards and tidying round. I was supervisor :D

    Hi every one, ive popped in for a quick raid of cream horns.
    sorry im AWOL again but having a Fibro flare & not too good. Im sure the cream horns will help :wink:
    I have been catching up today as i cant do much else.

    Having an early brekkie. I have cleaned round and done the tables and found some pots of African violets to put on them, all different colours.

    I've milked Marigold - it's rich and creamy this morning, have left a jug full by the fire for butter.

    Cuddles has been fed and is sulking 'cos it's raining.

    There's fresh bread in the bin and I've got a bacon sarnie and a builders!

    Hope you are all as well as can be expected.
    Trisher. I have caught up with some of the threads, what can I say except sorry you are going through so much.
    At the moment I am getting ready for two of my grandsons to come for a few days I hope. The youngest might suddenly want to go home to mum. It is the first time they have had a sleepover with Granny Joy, so hoping it will be a success. Pity about the weather, because it will be too wet for them to have a game of footie in the garden. They love our garden because it has a large lawn and they can run around and hide. I think they will be glad to get away from Paul the youngest (3). Whatever they want to do, he wants to join in and he spoils things like painting, cooking. And of course, we have Wicksteed Park on our doorstep. Pity about the rain.

    So I have the toybox filled up with new things, new DVDs and storybooks. And plenty of granny hugs. I know I shall be worn out afterwards, buyt it will be worth it. It's nice bonding with your grandchildren.

    I say this cake isgood.
    Annie. Where would be without you looking after Marigold. I have been slipping with my chores just lately. Lovely bread. shouldn't be eating it. It's off my diet at the moment. Have now lost 12lbs. Going a bit slow, but it is all in the right direction. Probably why I have lots more energy. Or could it be the cuppa's of energy you get in here.
    Right, onwards. Must get some more jobs done before I go off to art class.

    Time for a builders and five minutes sit-down before lunch.

    Sunshine and showers here today, but still mild at the moment! I missed all the showers while I was out, lucky me.

    A rest after lunch then back to the packing and sorting.
