    Goodnight one and all.

I had a nice time with grandson> He is such a good looking boy, blonde hair, now he is playing in the garden or going out and about he has a gorgeous tan to go with it.

He has a little quiff in the front of his hair and he looks grown up.

I hope you all have had a nice Easter Sunday

morning all! hope everyone had a good night's sleep (or at least feel more rested  )

it's pouring rain here :( been out with Ruby and Jakey- boy who don't care how wet it is and care even less about trailing mud into the car and the house!

Have put the kettle on and making pot of tea...anyone else about want one?

might sneak another hour in bed after a hot shower...

no fixed plans for today...twin sis Margot will be coming over later.... always feel complete when she's with me... we balance one another.

what you all doing today? something nice I hope? hope arther behaves for everyone...

Arther has got his jaws round my legs again, going to see if a little walk will loosen his grip.

Time for a builders before we go, won't be going far and in my case it's more of a hobble than a walk.

Place looks lovely and fresh, will bring back some blackthorn twigs with me - they are quite late this year.

I vaguely remember such. Morning all, average age is mid 80's at the moment. I was trying to get up and dressed at 4am, that's the second time in a week, no idea what I am up to. Couldn't manage to get dressed so went back to bed, then awake every hour.......think I am loosing the plot
Anyway, large cup of T and a bucket of energy. Got to nip out, running out of cat food and OH said lets go out for lunch, yippee, :) no faffing in the kitchen, dropping everything.........
A wet Bank Holiday day here so far...xxBubbles

Afternoon one and all, back from lunch, which was v nice, although not quite with it today and legs like lumps of cast iron. Slow walk round supermarket to get them moving, now they feel like LEAD! Huge mug of T, heating on, warm shower and if I don't have some chocolate soon, I will have a fit of peek.
Should be pottering, but, it is one of those days where you just cannot be a** ooops, bothered. OH is fussing in the kitchen...........best go nosey.

Oh please Joan, no sugar, strong as you like. Snook off quietly and changed the duvet, as you do, feeling like you are going to do it regardless. :x Now out of breath and hobbling around and OH saying, why didn't you ask me? Cos I wanted to do it.........
Perhaps an Easter cake if there are any left in the tin, if not, a chocolate donut. :)

    Hello everyone.

Only just managed to pop in.
How is everyone. I am slowly recovering although my head feels like it has been to a party, which one, I don't know because I wasn't there.
I'd love a cuppa if there is one. No. oh well, I'll pop the kettle on, looks like I may be on my own again.
Julie, hope you are feeling abit better and BP more normal. A friend rang me earlier - was telling me about her BP and her doc wasconcerned. So after her telling me what she was doing about it. I asked her how high it was. 148 over 80. I thought to myself, I must be on the way out because mine was 160 over 98 today and that is nearly normal for me. oh well.
I think I had better go and do the ironing now. The pile is rather high and OH is not too good after his op, so that has made the washing increase.
Hope he gets to see the consultant soon. hope he hasn't got an infection. There's always something.

Hi Joy, you are not alone with the cup of T, just pottering about in between nipping in the cafe. There is always something. My BP is the total opposite, usually about 100 over 50 or 60. Hope Julies has gone down even more. They used to say, in my day as a nurse, 100 plus your age, over 80, but I don't think that applies any more, seeing as I trained with Florence.

    Hi Joy, hi bubbles!

in the bygone age when I was nursing we used the same rule of thumb bubbles...seemed to work then..why not now??

my sis and her grandchildren have just gone home...so a cup of tea would just be heavenly just now. :D

that makes me a 'great aunt'......and I feel like someone out of a Charles Dickens novel :!:

    mind you.......x

gave them a laugh though when they saw my raised toilet seat and toilet frame....it does cause little boys in particular a bit of a problem.

    anyone for leftover simnel cake?

    Iris x

Hi wonky! didn't see you there...the pies sound scrumptious!

    Hello Bubbles.
My hubbie has low blood pressure and heartrate is only 55. They say he is very lucky. I always thought low BP was just as dangerous as the high. I'm glad that mine has come down. I think it could have something to do with the 12lbs in weight I have lost.

that reminds me, haven't had my fluid retention tablets today.

I think I will have another cuppa before I go and finish the windows.
