Just read back...have a lovely day with Toni and send her my love.I hope Trish is feeling a bit better after her funny 5 minutes. It was very, very cold and I must admit I sat in bed to keep warm before the heating came back on. It is a bit warmer today.
Dont forget...anybody know the ideal time to cook a duck egg?I keep having to throw them away as over cooking them.

    Hi Elizabeth,

Got the opposite problem to your Lucy at the mo  The crohn’s is kicking me to hell and I don't feel too good either.......

Toni should get here after 2 and maybe by then it will have warmed up and not rained? I will give her your love and it will be nice t see them again. Going to try and get them to help do a bit of sheep shearing tomorrow..... don't tell her please :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Duck eggs..... these are very fresh so have 4-5 mins and sty runny then but other people say longer........ I do hen's eggs for 3 mins and they are also very fresh so are very runny but is there a right way? I just have mine the way I likes them

Here you go 4 more ducks ones so you can experiment...... ((( ))) Cris xx

    Hi Cris,

I wont tell Toni although I expect she will be willing to help.
I have the same prob as you.opposite to Lucy.I worry it was my meds affecting my stomach but stopped taking Ibuprofen and still have the same problem.I have had this problem for about a year now.
Is that 5 mins from boiling? Or 5 mins from start in cold water? I have been putting them in fresh to already boiled water for 5 mins and they have come out too hard!
Hope your eyes are okay and dont want you to strain them.

    Hi Elizabeth,

If you have had it for over a year it might be best to ask the gp? I have huge problems at the mo, I am thinking of going on a fluid diet for a min...... I had to do that last flare and it does help. Its a few years since it did this and hell had forgotten how bad it is, how painful and how ill you end up feeling.......

How's Luce doing now? Bless her between us we could get one decent digestive system eh?:lol: Its hard when your young, not least cus you don't understand. Has she got good doctors Elizabeth?

Try 4 mins in boiling water and see if that works. I just stick eggs in and don't ever time them but they get as long as it takes to do the toast :lol::lol: Is the right length of time it seems  xx

Hi Julie, Chris, Trish, Elizabeth, Pixie and all.

Mmmm, duck eggs, no idea. Never had then, bought them nor cooked them. My folks use them in cakes, makes for very rich and yummy sponges :D

Slow going this morning, taken till now to dare to sit in a chair, just been leaning on furniture and work tops. The words blanket and wet, spring to mind. Booked Drs for next week, he is away this week and I won't see anyone else unless it is super urgent, not decrying them, they just don't know me like my own GP. Jeez, I am rambling and babbling.
One builders, a bacon butty, cut up please
I cannot even potter effectively this morning, now that is bad. Just one of those days. k050.gif

Why throw them away, the duck eggs. If they are done too much, just chop them up and put them in a sandwich. I hate waste.
Mind you, I do just tend to poach them and have them on toast. lovely
Right, who's got some duck eggs.
I need some energy from somewhere, just spent whole morning going to the hospital for my blood test. Path lab was 'heaving' with people today

One good thing, looks like Spring is here, the breeze is lovely and warm at the moment. Think I will spend some time doing some tidying up in the garden.
